Basin or Intrusion, a New Method to Resolve Non-Uniqueness in Gravity Interpretation

The aim of the current paper is to resolve the non-uniqueness in gravity interpretation through searching for singular points in the gravity field that are coincide with causative body vertices. The Absolute Second Horizontal Gradient (ASHG) method is used to locate the horizontal reference location of the body, while its amplitude could be used to define body corner depth. Intelligent use of the ASHG method could help in differentiating between basin and intrusion structures from their gravity effect and could facilitate the interpretation in forward modeling and constrain inversion modeling to maximum limit. The method is tested by using many synthetic examples with different types of shapes. A real data is used to examine the method and give a decisive result about the type and shape of the causative body.

Perception, Benefits, and Factors Affecting the Quality of Hospital Training Course for Pharmacy Students: A Qualitative Study with Recently Graduated Pharmacy Students

BACKGROUND: Hospital training courses for pharmacy students were required to prepare students to meet the challenges of real-world hospital work. AIM: Because there have been few studies on the efficacy of such courses, we aimed to recognize recent graduates’ perceptions, benefits, and factors influencing the quality of hospital training courses for pharmacy students. METHODS: A qualitative study using a phenomenology approach was conducted in 2022 and included several hospitals in Baghdad, Iraq, using in-depth face-to-face individual-based semi-structured interviews. Until saturation, a convenient sample of recently graduated pharmacists was included. The obtained data were analyzed using a thematic content analysis approach

A DFT treatments for studying the vibration frequencies and normal coordinates of cyclacene molecules with different diameters (Unit Construction of ZigZag SWCNTs)

Semi-empirical methods (MINDO/3, PM3) and Density Functional Theory calculations (DFT/ B3LYP/ 6-311G) were carried out to evaluate the vibration frequencies and Infra-Red (IR) absorption intensities for equilibrium geometries, of 6,7,8,10 and 12 cyclacene's molecules of different diameters for (SWCNTs). The Gaussian 03 and MOPAC computational packages have been employed throughout this study to compute the geometrical Parameters (bond lengths and bond angles) and the energetic properties, (vibration frequency, heat of formation and electronic charge distribution for the modeled 6,7,8,10 and 12 cyclacene's molecules of different diameters nanostructures (zig-zag). The results include the assignment of all puckering, breathing and clock-an

A comparison of the Effects of Lemon Peel -Silver Nanoparticles Versus Brand Toothpastes and Mouthwashes on Staphylococcus Spp. Isolated From Teeth Caries

Thirty one  samples of gum swabs were collected from patients with tooth caries (5-30 years old)  from the College of Science (Biology department )- University of Baghdad- Iraq for the period from October 2018 to December 2018. , The samples were transported, after inoculation in a transport media (nutrient broth), to the laboratory of the College of Science and then cultured on mannitol salt agar and  blood agar). The isolates belonging to Staphylococcus spp. were identified by biochemical tests and Vitek 2 compact system, while the more antibiotic resistant isolates were identified by using Polymerase Chain Reaction(ï´¾PCR)  and sequencing of 16SrRNA . The results showed sharp UV absorption peaks at 330 - 340nm and AFM at 5

Fabrication and Characterization of Functionalized Multi-Wall Carbon Nanotubes Flexible Network Modified by a Layer of Polypyrrole Conductive Polymer and Metallic Nanoparticles

Short Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes functionalized with OH group (MWCNTs-OH) were used to synthesize flexible MWCNTs networks. The MWCNTs suspension was synthesized using Benzoquinone (BQ) and N, N Dimethylformamide alcohol (DMF) in specific values and then deposited on filter paper by filtration from suspension (FFS) method. Polypyrrole (PPy) conductive polymer doped with metallic nanoparticles (MNPs) prepared using in-situ chemical polymerization method. To improve the properties of the MWCNTs networks, a coating layer of (PPy) conductive polymer, PPy:Ag nanoparticles, and PPy: Cu nanoparticles were applied to the network. The fabricated networks were characterized using an X-ray diffractometer (XRD), UV-Vis. spectrometer, and Ato

Spatiotemporal Analysis of Water Quality Using Water Quality Index and Heavy Metal Pollution Index: A Case Study of Al-Diwaniyah River, Iraq

The current study aims to assess the water quality of the Al-Diwaniyah River in the city of Al-Diwaniyah to drink in terms of chemical properties and heavy metals and their impact on the health of the local population. The results showed that most of the parameters in the river water are of low concentrations due to the limited human activities in polluting the river water. The study concluded that the water quality is suitable for drinking depending on major cations and anions in all seasons. The Heavy Metal Pollution Index (HPI) showed that the river water was clean and safe, except two slightly polluted samples. The study concluded that river water for drinking or various domestic uses does not pose any danger to human heal
