I am a dedicated lecturer in the Clinical Pharmacy department, with a strong background in both academic and practical aspects of pharmacy. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2010 and went on to earn my Master's degree in 2017. My interests lie in enhancing patient care through the integration of clinical practices and research, with a focus on improving therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Clinical Pharmacy – Obtained in 2017, with a focus on patient care and pharmacotherapy. • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy – Graduated in 2010, providing a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences and clinical practices. • Extensive Experience in Clinical Training and Education – Skilled in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application through hands-on teaching in hospital settings and lab environments. • Research Experience – Involved in research on topics such as genetic polymorphisms in rheumatoid arthritis and the effects of interleukins on treatment responses, contributing to the advancement of clinical pharmacy knowledge.

Responsibility

• Conduct and oversee hospital training sessions, guiding students through practical, hands-on experiences in clinical settings. • Lead Clinical Pharmacy lab sessions, providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary for patient-centered care and medication management. • Develop and update curriculum content to ensure alignment with current clinical practices and advancements in pharmacy. • Mentor and advise students on their academic and professional development, supporting their transition from classroom knowledge to clinical applications. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance training programs and facilitate real-world learning opportunities for students.

Research Interests

• Genetic Polymorphisms and Pharmacotherapy – Investigating how genetic variations influence patient responses to medications, aiming to enhance personalized treatment approaches. • Patient Education Programs – Developing and assessing educational interventions to improve patient knowledge, adherence, and overall quality of life. • Medication Promotion and Advertising – Exploring the impact of pharmaceutical marketing on patient and healthcare provider perceptions, with a focus on ethical practices and informed decision-making.

Perception, Benefits, and Factors Affecting the Quality of Hospital Training Course for Pharmacy Students: A Qualitative Study with Recently Graduated Pharmacy Students

BACKGROUND: Hospital training courses for pharmacy students were required to prepare students to meet the challenges of real-world hospital work. AIM: Because there have been few studies on the efficacy of such courses, we aimed to recognize recent graduates’ perceptions, benefits, and factors influencing the quality of hospital training courses for pharmacy students. METHODS: A qualitative study using a phenomenology approach was conducted in 2022 and included several hospitals in Baghdad, Iraq, using in-depth face-to-face individual-based semi-structured interviews.
