In this research article, an Iterative Decomposition Method is applied to approximate linear and non-linear fractional delay differential equation. The method was used to express the solution of a Fractional delay differential equation in the form of a convergent series of infinite terms which can be effortlessly computable.
The method requires neither discretization nor linearization. Solutions obtained for some test problems using the proposed method were compared with those obtained from some methods and the exact solutions. The outcomes showed the proposed approach is more efficient and correct.
This paper proposes a new strategy to enhance the performance and accuracy of the Spiral dynamic algorithm (SDA) for use in solving real-world problems by hybridizing the SDA with the Bacterial Foraging optimization algorithm (BFA). The dynamic step size of SDA makes it a useful exploitation approach. However, it has limited exploration throughout the diversification phase, which results in getting trapped at local optima. The optimal initialization position for the SDA algorithm has been determined with the help of the chemotactic strategy of the BFA optimization algorithm, which has been utilized to improve the exploration approach of the SDA. In this work, silicon nitride (Si3N4) thin films were deposited on metallic substrates (aluminium and titanium sheets) by the DC reactive sputtering technique using two different silicon targets (n-type and p-type Si wafers) as well as two Ar:N2 gas mixing ratios (50:50 and 70:30). The electrical conductivity of the metallic (aluminium and titanium) substrates was measured before and after the deposition of silicon nitride thin films on both surfaces of the substrates.
