The current research aims to reveal the reality of coping the scientific research in Omani universities in the Sultanate of Oman with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the light of Oman’s 2040 vision.       This paper aims to introduce a concept of an equilibrium point of a dynamical system which will call it almost global asymptotically stable. We also propose and analyze a prey-predator model with a suggested  function growth in prey species. Firstly the existence and local stability of all its equilibria are studied. After that the model is extended to an optimal control problem to obtain an optimal harvesting strategy. The discrete time version of Pontryagin's maximum principle is applied to solve the optimality problem. The characterization of the optimal harvesting variable and the adjoint variables are derived. Finally these theoretical results are demonstrated with numerical simulations.

A technique for noise removal is proposed based on slantlet transform. The proposed algorithm tends to reduce the computational time by reducing the total number of frames through dividing the video film into sub films, finding master frames, applying the slantlet transform which is orthogonal discrete wavelet transform with two zero moments and with improved time localization. Thresholding technique is applied to the details coefficients of the slantlet transform .The denoised frame is repeated to retain the original frame sequence.
