The Fylex extract exert a high inhibition effect against A . flavus growth on PDA medium, as the fungus growth was completely inhibited by 100% at a concentration of 0.2 and 0.3% of studied extract, while the lowest inhibition percentage (71%) was found at a concentration of 0.1%. Whereas magnesium oxide nanoparticles showed the highest inhibition ratio of A. flavus (100%) was detected at 0.2% and the lowest inhibition ratio (81.66%) was at concentration 0.5%. In this study, effects of shisha smoking on some blood components were evaluated in (120) male adult mice. The animals were divided into four groups according to smoke types (cigarette, shisha, cigarette +shisha) in addition to control groups which exposed to fresh air only. A special inhalation chamber designed locally has been used to expose the animals. Exposed to cigarette smoke was done for 5 min/day while exposed to shisha smoke for 15 min /day /7days/weeks for 4,8,12 weeks. Blood samples were collected to evaluate some hematological variables. Isolation and identification fungi of Emericella nidulans and Aspergillus flavus from a pinkish and yellowish artificial clay, by using potato dextrose agar (PDA). Results revealed that E. nidulans was the best for degrading anthracene (92.3%) with maximum biomass production (3.7gm/l), compared to A. flavus with the rate of degradation (89%) and biomass production of (1.2gm/l), when methylene blue was used as redox indicator after incubating in a shaker incubator 120rpm at 30Co for 8days. Results indicated that E. nidulans has a high ability of anthracene degradation with the rate of (84%), while A. flavus showed the lower level with (77%) by using HPLC.
