The main objectives of this research is to extract essential oil from: orange ( citrus sinensis), lemon( citrus limon) and mandarin( citrus reticulata) peels by two methods: steam distillation (SD) and microwave assisted steam distillation (MASD), study the effect of extraction conditions (weight of the sample, extraction time, and microwave power, citrus peel type) on oil yield and compare the results of the two methods, the resulting essential oil was analyzed by Gas Chromatography (GC).

Background: clinically significant macular edema (CSME) is the commonest cause of visual loss in patients with diabetes mellitus and laser focal photocoagulation is the golden standard for treating it. Patients and Methods: A frequency doubled Nd: YAG laser was used to treat all eyes included in this study with diabetic maculopathy. Thirty eyes of three insulin dependent and twenty six non insulin dependent diabetic Iraqi patients were included. The study involved twenty six males, three females and followed for one year. New types of modules named Fully Small Dual Stable Modules and Principally Small Dual Stable are studied and investigated. Both concepts are generalizations of Fully Dual Stable Modules and Principally Dual Stable Modules respectively. Our new concepts coincide when the module is Small Quasi-Projective, and by considering other kind of conditions. Characterizations and relations of these concepts and the concept of Small Duo Modules are investigated, where every fully small dual stable R-module M is small duo and the same for principally small dual stable.
