Petrophysical properties including volume of shale, porosity and water saturation are significance parameters for petroleum companies in evaluating the reservoirs and determining the hydrocarbon zones. These can be achieved through conventional petrophysical calculations from the well logs data such as gamma ray, sonic, neutron, density and deep resistivity. The well logging operations of the targeted limestone Mishrif reservoirs in Ns-X Well, Nasiriya Oilfield, south of Iraq could not be done due to some problems related to the well condition. The gamma ray log was the only recorded log through the cased borehole. Therefore, evaluating the reservoirs and estimating the perforation zones has not performed and the drilled well was abandoned. This paper presents a solution to estimate the missing open-hole logs of Mishrif Formation including sonic, neutron, density and deep resistivity using supervised Artificial Neural Network (ANN) in Petrel software (2016.2). Furthermore, the original gamma-ray log along with the predicted logs data from ANN models were processed, and the petrophysical properties including volume of shale, effective porosity and water saturation were calculated to determine the hydrocarbon zones. The ANN Mishrif Formation models recorded coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.65, 0.77, 0.82, and 0.04 between the predicted and the tested logs data with total correlations of 0.67, 0.91, 0.84 and 0.57 for sonic, neutron, density, and resistivity logs respectively. The best possible hydrocarbon-bearing zone ranges from the depth of about 1980-2030 m in the mB1unit. The ANN provides a good accuracy and data matching in clean and non-heterogeneous formations compared to those with higher heterogeneity that contain more than one type of lithology. The Ns-X Well can, therefore, be linked to the development plans of the Nasiriya Field instead of neglect it.
Water quality of Al-Gharraf River, which considered the main branch of Tigris River south of Iraq was examined using the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment Water Quality Index (CCME-WQI) for aquatic life protection and irrigation. Water samples were collected monthly from five sampling stations during 2013-2014 and 17 physicochemical parameters were analyzed: Temperature, hydrogen ion concentration (pH), electrical conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, alkalinity, chloride, calcium, magnesium, sulfate, phosphate, nitrate, sodium, lead, cadmium, nickel and zinc.
The model classified water of Al-Gharraf River as poor for aquatic life protection and fair for irrigation with seasonal overall WQI value of 30-39 and among
This research is devoted to investigate relationship between both Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity and Rebound Number (Hammer Test) with cube compressive strength and also to study the effect of steel reinforcement on these relationships.
A study was carried out on 32 scale model reinforced concrete elements. Non destructive testing campaign (mainly ultrasonic and rebound hammer tests) made on the same elements. About 72 concrete cubes (15 X 15 X15) were taken from the concrete mixes to check the compressive strength.. Data analyzed.Include the possible correlations between non destructive testing (NDT) and compressive strength (DT) Statistical approach is used for this purpose. A new relationships obtained from correlations results is give
Knowledge of permeability, which is the ability of rocks to transmit the fluid, is important for understanding the flow mechanisms in oil and gas reservoirs.
Permeability is best measured in the laboratory on cored rock taken from the reservoir. Coring is expensive and time-consuming in comparison to the electronic survey techniques most commonly used to gain information about permeability.
Yamama formation was chosen, to predict the permeability by using FZI method. Yamama Formation is the main lower cretaceous carbonate reservoir in southern of Iraq. This formation is made up mainly of limestone. Yamama formation was deposited on a gradually rising basin floor. The digenesis of Yamama sediments is very important due to its direct
Its well known that understanding human facial expressions is a key component in understanding emotions and finds broad applications in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI), has been a long-standing issue. In this paper, we shed light on the utilisation of a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) for facial emotion recognition from videos using the TensorFlow machine-learning library from Google. This work was applied to ten emotions from the Amsterdam Dynamic Facial Expression Set-Bath Intensity Variations (ADFES-BIV) dataset and tested using two datasets.

Oil well logging, also known as wireline logging, is a method of collecting data from the well environment to determine subterranean physical properties and reservoir parameters. Measurements are collected against depth along the well's length, and many types of wire cabling tools depend on the physical property of interest. Well probes generally has a dynamic respon to changes in rock layers and fluid composition. These probes or well logs are legal documents that record the history of a well during the drilling stages until its completion. Well probes record the physical properties of the well, which must then be interpreted in petrographic terms to obtain the characteristics of the rocks and flui

In today's world, most business, regardless of size, believe that access to Internet is imperative if they are going to complete effectively. Yet connecting a private computer (or a network) to the Internet can expose critical or confidential data to malicious attack from anywhere in the world since unprotected connections to the Internet (or any network topology) leaves the user computer vulnerable to hacker attacks and other Internet threats. Therefore, to provide high degree of protection to the network and network's user, Firewall need to be used.
Firewall provides a barrier between the user computer and the Internet (i.e. it prevents unauthor
