This work involves separating and studying the aminoacylase-1 (ACY1) of amniotic fluid from healthy pregnant, mainly one peak with higher activity has been isolated by DEAE-Cellulose ion exchange from the proteinous supernatant produced by deposition of proteins using ammonium sulfate  (65%) after dialysis. The purification folds reaching to 19 folds also gave one protein peak when injected into the gel filtration column, a high ACY1 purity was obtained, with 38 folds of purification. It is generally accepted that there are two spectrophotometric techniques for quantifying ceftazidime (CFT) in bulk medications and pharmaceutical formulations.  The methods  are described as simple, sensitive, selective, accurate and efficient techniques. The first method used an alkaline medium to convert ceftazidime to its diazonium salt, which is then combined with the 1-Naphthol (1-NPT) and 2-Naphthol (2-NPT) reagents.      This study observed the formation of struvite crystals in wastewater using natural zeolite activated with Mg²⁺ ions. Mg²⁺ ions released from natural zeolite would react with PO₄^3- and NH₄⁺ ions from in wastewater to form struvite crystals. The results showed that at pH 8.5, the removal of PO₄^3- and NH₄⁺ ions was more effective using the modified zeolite than the natural zeolite.
