The License Plate (LP), is a rectangular metal plate that contains numbers and letters. This plate is fixed onto the vehicle's body. It is used as a mean to identify the vehicle. The License Plate Recognition (LPR) system is a mean where a vehicle can be identified automatically using a computer system. The LPR has many applications, such as security applications for car tracking, or enforcing control on vehicles entering restricted areas (such as airports or governmental buildings). This paper is concerned with introducing a new method to recognize the Iraqi LPs using local vertical and horizontal projections, then testing its performance. The attained success rate reached 99.16%, with average recognition time around 0.012 second for recognizing a single alphanumeric symbol .

This research aims to identify the means and forms of interactive communication concerning Iraqi topics on the websites of global radio stations, namely Sawa and Monte Carlo. It also seeks to uncover the editorial and artistic interactions related to Iraqi topics on the selected websites chosen as the research sample, comparing them with the editorial interaction within the Iraqi context between the Radio Monte Carlo and Sawa websites.

In the present study, the aim was made to identify the relationship between thyroid autoimmunity (TAI) and female infertility. The study was performed on 30 infertile women and 22 age-matched healthy fertile control age (33 ± 5 years). Overall, serum prolactin (PRL), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) assay is the key test for the diagnosis and management of hypo and hyperthyroidism. Anti-TPO Ab and anti-TG Ab were measured. The mean ± SE of serum PRL (31.080 ± 3.06) ng/ml was significantly (P<0.05) higher in infertile group compared with control (16.191±1.36) ng/ml.
