Modeling of medium-Sized magnitudes of earthquakes

n this work, it have earthquakes data been analytized as a result of ground water injection attendant to dig wells and oil, which affects the pressure pores in the rock and is according to cause a medium-sized earthquake that have already occurred more than 20 times. according to the publication of the Department of Attenba, the dangers of earthquakes and movement flooring in Guy-Greenbrie-United area of one of United States of America cities, where these data represent a monitor magnitudes of earthquakes from September 2008 the September 2011, we conducted statistical analysis and create a model for earthquakes flooring that was chosen for four dis-tributions and results i the optima reveal the best distribution is the Burr X11 then General Extreme value, and lognormal distribution, and normal distribution. We applied the maximum likelihood method for estimating the parameters of these dis-tribution.

Concealment of the Offenders:

Its Conceptions, Evidence, Objectives, Criteria

This study discusses the concealment of the offenders, but also emphasize the importance of clarifying this concept. Furthermore, it differentiates between this concept and other relevant concepts. Moreover, this study explains that the ruling of the concealment of the offenders is required by sharia. This is evident by many proofs of the Quran and the Sunnah in addition to being in line with the sharia’s objectives.

Additionally, the study mentions several advantages to the concealment of an offender and the disadvantages of reporting an offender. Examples include ensuring the Islamic community cohesion, encouraging offe

Wake potential of swift ions in copper target

We investigate the interaction of proton with a solid target, describing the wake effects by taking fitted parameters with experimental values of energy loss function ELF for copper using the dielectric function of random phase approximation (RPA). The results exhibited a damped oscillatory behavior in the longitudinal direction behind the projectile. In addition, the wake potential becomes asymmetric around the z-axis with proton velocity values higher than Fermi velocity, as well as it depends on the position of projectile in cylindrical coordinates.

Evaluating the Development of the Crescent Visibility Criteria

Predicting the visibility of the lunar crescent drew great attention during the Middle Ages, especially among Muslims, because the dates of religious practices in Islam and calendars, in addition to being aware of the motion of the moon in its orbit, are based on the lunar month.

This paper aims to study the development of crescent visibility criteria from ancient times through the medieval period to the modern update. Some basics and astronomical terms related to crescent visibility are presented and then a comprehensive view of crescent visibility criteria is examined by surveying about 54 published research papers related to the issue of crescent visibility. Each research paper is summarized, classified, and the re

Coverage of Iraqi Sports Newspapers for Major Events

The Iraqi sports journalism has paid great attention to sports events through press coverage of all its forms and arts, especially the coverage of the World Cup of football which is one of the most watched events in the world. Thousands of journals are preparing for the immediate coverage of such event which is a daunting task in itself. Newspapers have devoted a wider space to this great event in its pages as well as the weakly sports newspapers work on issuing a daily special issue. The importance of this research sheds light on the coverage of major events such as World Cup in Iraqi newspapers. The topic is new

Candida and Candidiasis - A review of Virulence Factors

The occurrences of invasive candidiasis has increased over the previous few decades. Although Candida albicans considers as one of the most common species of organisms, that cause acquired fungal infections. Candida albicans is an opportunistic fungal pathogen and inherent in as a lifelong, the yeast is present in healthy individuals as a commensal, and can reside harmlessly in human body. However, in immuno-compromised individuals, the fungus can invade tissues, producing superficial infections and, in severe cases, life-threatening systemic infections. This review wills emphasis on virulence factor of C. albicans including (adhesion, invasion, candida proteinase, and phenotypic switching and biofilm formation. I

Performance of Reinforced Concrete Beams with Multiple Openings

The present investigation focuses on the response of simply supported reinforced concrete rectangular-section beams with multiple openings of different sizes, numbers, and geometrical configurations. The advantages of the reinforcement concrete beams with multiple opening are mainly, practical benefit including decreasing the floor heights due to passage of the utilities through the beam rather than the passage beneath it, and constructional benefit that includes the reduction of the self-weight of structure resulting due to the reduction of the dead load that achieves economic design. To optimize beam self-weight with its ultimate resistance capacity, ten reinforced concrete beams having a length, width, and depth of 2700, 100, and

The Value of Terminal Ileum Intubation During Colonoscopy
Abstract<p>It is uncertain whether terminal ileum intubation should be performed routinely during colonoscopy, as there is uncertainty regarding its diagnostic value. The aim of the present study is to assess the diagnostic yield of terminal ileum intubation during colonoscopy according to indications for colonoscopy. This is a cross-sectional study in which the results of 294 total colonoscopy procedures were reviewed; ileal intubation was performed in 269 (91.49%) patients. The indications for colonoscopy, the results of ileoscopy, and the histopathological results of ileal biopsies were evaluated.</p><p>A total of 54 (20%) out of 269 patients who had successful intubation into the terminal ileum sh</p> ... CHECKLIST OF DARKLING BEETLES (COLEOPTERA, TENEBRIONIDAE) IN IRAQ

In the current review, an updated list of dark beetle species (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae) recorded in Iraq was given. The current paper is based on previous studies in the literature and contains all dark beetles referred to in Iraq, except for the species within the Pimelinae subfamily. The investigation of this review showed the presence of 89 species belonging to 34 genera within five subfamilies. This work included mentioning the basionyms and synonyms for genera and species with their global distribution, as well as, correcting the scientific names that were mentioned in the previous checklists.
