PIM-SM based Multicast Comparison for IPv4 verses IPv6 using GNS3 and JPERF

The multicast technology implements a very high-efficiency point-to-multipoint data transmission over IP networks (IPv4 and IPv6). Multicast reduces network load, eliminates traffic redundancy, and saves network bandwidth. Therefore, multicast used widely in LAN/WAN applications such as online games, video conferencing and IPTV. The multicast technology implements varied protocols such as DVMRP(Distance Vector Multicast Routing Protocol), MOSPF(Multicast Open Shortest Path First), or PIM-DM (Protocol Independent Multicast- Dense Mode) which considered source tree type, while PIM-SM (Protocol Independent Multicast- Sparse Mode) and CBT (Core Based Tree) uses shared tree. Current paper focuses on the performance evaluation of the two multicast protocols: PIM-SMv4 and PIM-SMv6 based on QoS metrics like throughput, jitter, datagram loss and Data received. PIM-SM over IPv6 showed good results compared with PIM-SM over IPv4 by 4..1%, ...1%, 65.2.% and 98.91% in terms of data received, throughput, jitter and datagram loss respectively .GNS3 simulator/emulator and JPERF used to evaluate this performance

Subsurface 3D Prediction Porosity Model from Converted Seismic and Well Data Using Model Based Inversion Technique

Seismic inversion technique is applied to 3D seismic data to predict porosity property for carbonate Yamama Formation (Early Cretaceous) in an area located in southern Iraq. A workflow is designed to guide the manual procedure of inversion process. Enhancement in Lubricating, Rheological, and Filtration Properties of Unweighted Water-Based Mud Using XC Polymer NPs

In this research, an enhancement in lubricating, rheological, and filtration properties of unweighted water-based mud is fundamentally investigated using XC polymer NPs with 0.2gm, 0.5gm, 1gm, 2gm, and 4gm concentrations. Bentonite, that had been used in the preparation of unweighted water-based mud, was characterized using XRF-1800 Sequential X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer, XRD-6100/7000 X-ray Diffractometer, and Malvern Mastersizer 2000 particle size analyzer, respectively. Polluted Water Sensor Based on Carbon Quantum Dots/Alq3 Using Drop Casting and Spin Coating Techniques

Water quality sensors have recently received a lot of attention due to their impact on human health. Due to their distinct features, environmental sensors are based on carbon quantum dots (CQDs). Synthesis and evaluation of B-cyclodextrin Based Nanosponges of 5- Fluorouracil by Using Ultrasound Assisted Method

 

CD-nanosponges were prepared by crosslinking B-CD with diphenylcarbonate (DPC) using ultrasound assisted technique. 5-FU was incorporated with NS by freeze drying, and the phase solubility study, complexation efficiency (CE) entrapment efficiency were performed. Also, the particle morphology was studied using SEM and AFM. The in-vitro release of 5-FU from the prepared nanosponges was carried out in 0.1N HCl.

5-FU nanosponges particle size was in the nano size. The optimum formula showed a particle size of (405.46±30) nm, with a polydispersity index (PDI) (0.328±0.002) and a negative zeta potential (-18.75±1.8). Comparison Between Conventional and Microwave Methods For Extraction Pectin and Degree of Esterification from Orange (Citrus sinesis) and Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) Peels

In this study Microwave and conventional methods have been used to extract and estimate pectin and its degree of esterification from dried grapefruit and orange peels. Acidified solution water with nitric acid in pH (1.5) was used. In conventional method, different temperature degrees for extraction pectin from grape fruit and orange(85 ,90 , 95 and 100?C) for 1 h were used The results showed grapefruit peels contained 12.82, 17.05, 18.47, 15.89% respectively, while the corresponding values were 5.96, 6.74, 7.41 and 8.00 %, respectively in orange peels. Performance Comparison of Different Advanced Control Schemes for Glucose Level Control under Disturbing Meal

In this work, diabetic glucose concentration level control under disturbing meal has been controlled using two set of advanced controllers. The first set is sliding mode controllers (classical and integral) and the second set is represented by optimal LQR controllers (classical and Min-, ax).
