Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which may cause illness in animals or humans.  In humans, seven strains of coronaviruses were recognized to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold associated with HKU1, NL63, OC43 and 229E viruses to more severe diseases such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) during 2002, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) during 2012, and the COVID-19 that started during December 2019 in Wuhan, China.

The main problem established by a discovery of a thyroid nodule is to discriminate between a benign and malignant lesion. Differential diagnosis between follicular thyroid cancer (FTC) and benign follicular thyroid adenoma (FTA) is a great challenge for even an experienced pathologist and requires special effort. The title compound was synthesized by 2:1 condensation between adamantan-1-ylamine and benzene-1,4- dicarbaldehyde in n-BuOH and produced a good yield 87% of new bis Schiff base. The compound skeleton was affirmed by FTIR, ¹H NMR, LC-MS, and X-ray powder diffraction. The structure was solved by a parallel tempering process and refined by using Rietveld refinement. Two adamantan-1-ylimino groups are connected in the anti-positions to the planar central 1,4-dimethylbenzene group. All rings of the adamantyl group possess normal chair conformation.
