In this work, silver (Ag) self-metallization on a polyimide (PI) film was prepared through autocatalytic plating. PI films were prepared through the solution casting method, followed by etching with potassium hydroxide (KOH) solution, sensitization with tin chloride (SnCl₂), and the use of palladium chloride (PdCl₂) to activate the surface of PI. Toxicity assays were used in this study to test how DDT affects lethality and brood size of Caenorhabditis elegans (C.elegans) by exposing them to various concentrations of this agent. These nematodes have provided a very informative system that was utilized to study the behavioural and physiological processes. The results showed that DDT affected the lethality in a dose-dependent manner, but 100% kill was not achieved with concentration tested. In this study the (geoelectric – hydrogeologic) parameters which are obtained by the
quantitative interpretation of (80) Schlumberger Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES)
points distributed in six linear profiles within the study area are used in addition to
(6) pumping test locations for the groundwater reservoir located to the south of Jabal
Sinjar (Sinjar anticline). The studied area covers about 7920Km2. The (VES) field
