Two Spectrophotometric Methods Based on Diazotization Coupling Reaction for Determination of Genistein in Pure and Supplement

      Genistein (GEN) is one of the predominant dietary isoflavones found in legumes such as soybeans. Genistein has been recommended as an osteoporosis treatment for postmenopausal women and elderly men, with the intention of reducing cardiovascular disease and hormone-dependent malignancies. Therefore, two sensitive and simple methods for quantifying it in the supplements preparation were developed.The first method (A) comprised employing the surfactant Triton X-114 to extract the result of the diazotization reaction with 4-Aminoacetophenone(4AMA) utilizing a cloud point extraction technique. The product was extracted using micelles of a non-ionic surfactant (TritonX-114) and then spectrophotometrically detected at a specified wavelength of 437nm. The linearity of the calibration curve was in the range of 0.25 -2.75 µg/mL of GEN(r = 0.9978) under optimal conditions. The average sample recovery was determined to be between 96 and 101 %. For 2 µg/mL of GEN, the relative standard deviation (RSD) was (0.27%). The second method (B) involved using the spectrophotometric-flow injection methodology for the same diazotization coupling reaction described above, and  the orange colored dyewas measured at a   wave length of 437 nm.Calibration curve were linear at different concentration range of GEN 10 to 100 µg/mL , relative standard deviation RSD% were 0.23 to 1.21. The proposed methods were applied to determine the presence of GEN in Supplements.

COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN A NOVEL DETERMINISTIC TEST FOR MERSENNE PRIMES AND THE WELL-KNOWN PRIMALITY TESTS

In this article, a new deterministic primality test for Mersenne primes is presented. It also includes a comparative study between well-known primality tests in order to identify the best test. Moreover, new modifications are suggested in order to eliminate pseudoprimes. The study covers random primes such as Mersenne primes and Proth primes. Finally, these tests are arranged from the best to the worst according to strength, speed, and effectiveness based on the results obtained through programs prepared and operated by Mathematica, and the results are presented through tables and graphs.

Comparison between Linear and Non-linear ANN Models for Predicting Water Quality Parameters at Tigris River

In this research, Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) technique was applied in an attempt to predict the water levels and some of the water quality parameters at Tigris River in Wasit Government for five different sites. These predictions are useful in the planning, management, evaluation of the water resources in the area. Spatial data along a river system or area at different locations in a catchment area usually have missing measurements, hence an accurate prediction. model to fill these missing values is essential.
The selected sites for water quality data prediction were Sewera, Numania , Kut u/s, Kut d/s, Garaf observation sites. In these five sites models were built for prediction of the water level and water quality parameters.

Geographically weighted regression model for physical, social, and economic factors affecting the COVID-19 pandemic spreading

A Comparison Between Classic Local Least Estimatop And Bayesian Methoid For Estimating Semiparametric Logistic Regression Model

Semi-parametric models analysis is one of the most interesting subjects in recent studies due to give an efficient model estimation. The problem when the response variable has one of two values either 0 ( no response) or one – with response which is called the logistic regression model.

A comparison between banana peel powder and gel for removing methylene blue dye from aqueous solution

This research aims to removes dyes from waste water by adsorption using banana peels. The conduct experiment done by banana powder and banana gel to compare between them and find out which one is the most efficient in adsorption. Studying the effects different factors on adsorption material and calculate the best removal efficiency to get rid of the methylene blue dye (MB).
