Optimal CPU Jobs Scheduling Method Based on Simulated Annealing Algorithm

     Task scheduling in an important element in a distributed system. It is vital how the jobs are correctly assigned for each computer’s processor to improve performance. The presented approaches attempt to reduce the expense of optimizing the use of the CPU. These techniques mostly lack planning and in need to be comprehensive. To address this fault, a hybrid optimization scheduling technique is proposed for the hybridization of both First-Come First-Served (FCFS), and Shortest Job First (SJF). In addition, we propose to apply Simulated Annealing (SA) algorithm as an optimization technique to find optimal job’s execution sequence considering both job’s entrance time and job’s execution time to balance them to reduce the job’s waiting time to be executed. As a result, this research proves that the proposed technique achieves an optimization efficiency with a percentage average 45.5 % according to the FCFS algorithm and 54.5% according to SJF method.

Optimal Color Model for Information Hidingin Color Images

In present work the effort has been put in finding the most suitable color model for the application of information hiding in color images. We test the most commonly used color models; RGB, YIQ, YUV, YCbCr1 and YCbCr2. The same procedures of embedding, detection and evaluation were applied to find which color model is most appropriate for information hiding. The new in this work, we take into consideration the value of errors that generated during transformations among color models. The results show YUV and YIQ color models are the best for information hiding in color images.

Discretization Fractional-Order Biological Model with Optimal Harvesting

In this paper, a discretization of a three-dimensional fractional-order prey-predator model has been investigated with Holling type III functional response. All its fixed points are determined; also, their local stability is investigated. We extend the discretized system to an optimal control problem to get the optimal harvesting amount. For this, the discrete-time Pontryagin’s maximum principle is used. Finally, numerical simulation results are given to confirm the theoretical outputs as well as to solve the optimality problem.

Design of an Optimal Integral Backstepping Controller for a Quadcopter

In this paper, an Integral Backstepping Controller (IBC) is designed and optimized for full control, of rotational and translational dynamics, of an unmanned Quadcopter (QC). Before designing the controller, a mathematical model for the QC is developed in a form appropriate for the IBC design. Palm Vein Recognition Based on Centerline

The palm vein recognition is one of the biometric systems that use for identification and verification processes since each person have unique characteristics for the veins. In this paper we can improvement palm vein recognition system have been made. The system based on centerline extraction of veins, and employs the concept of Difference-of Gaussian (DoG) Function to construct features vector. The tests results on our database showed that the identification rate is 100 % with the minimum error rate was 0.333.

  The influence of annealing on quaternary compound Ag0.9Cu0.1InSe2 (ACIS) thin film is considered a striking semiconductor for second-generation solar cells. The film deposited by thermal evaporation with a thickness of about 700 nm at R.T and vacuum annealing at temperatures (373,473) K for 1 hour. It was deposited in a vacuum of 4.5*10-5 Torr on a glass substrate. From XRD and AFM analysis, it is evident that Ag0.9Cu0.1InSe2 films are polycrystalline in nature, having ideal stoichiometric composition.
