Gravity Model for Flow Migration Within Wireless Communication Networks

     This paper investigated an Iraqi dataset from Korek Telecom Company as Call Detail Recorded (CDRs) for six months falling between Sep. 2020-Feb. 2021. This data covers 18 governorates, and it falls within the period of COVID-19. The Gravity algorithm was applied into two levels of abstraction in deriving the results as the macroscopic and mesoscopic levels respectively. The goal of this study was to reveal the strength and weakness of people migration in-between the Iraqi cities. Thus, it has been clear that the relationship between each city with the others is based on   and  of mobile people. However, the COVID-19 effects on the people’s migration needed to be explored. Whereas the main function of the gravity model is to clarify the migration flows through modeling spatial interaction. This was implemented using Python scripting language. It is concluded that the gravity model has a powerful ability to analyze the movement of people between cities. According to the mean of result between governorates, showing that the highest attraction was between Babil and Anbar governorates amounted to , while the lowest attraction was between Wasit and Thi-Qar governorates with , and the others ranged between .

The Deep Faults in Kut-Hai and Surrounding Area Inferred From Gravity and Magnetic Data

Gravity and magnetic data are used to study the tectonic situation of Al-Kut- Al-
Hai and surrounding areas in central Iraq. The study included application of many
processing and interpretation programs. The window method with different spacing
was used to separate the residual from regional anomalies for gravity and magnetic
data. The Total Horizontal Derivative (THDR) techniques used to identify the fault
trends in the basement and sedimentary cover rocks depending upon gravity and
magnetic data. The identified faults in the study area show (NW-SE), (NE-SW) (NS)
and (E-W) trends. It is believed that these faults extending from the basement to
the upper most layer of the sedimentary cover rocks.

Electromyography (EMG) is being explored for evaluating muscle activity. For gait analysis, EMG needs to be small, lightweight, portable device, and with low power consumption. The proposed superficial EMG (sEMG) system is aimed to be used in rehabilitation centers and biomechanics laboratories for gait analysis in Iraq.

The Bouguer Anomaly Map of Iraq According to a New Local Theoretical Gravity Equation and Its Geological Importance

Four hundred and seventy eight gravity base stations in Iraq were used to obtain a new local theoretical gravity equation. The obtained equation was used to construct a Bouguer anomaly map of Iraq depending on the available gravity base stations. This map was compared with the Bouguer map constructed for the same stations using the international formula (1930). Good similarity in shapes and locations of the anomaly were observed, while the   gravity anomaly values in the new map were increased by about 30 mGal. ON THE GREEDY RADIAL BASIS FUNCTION NEURAL NETWORKS FOR APPROXIMATION MULTIDIMENSIONAL FUNCTIONS

The aim of this paper is to approximate multidimensional functions by using the type of Feedforward neural networks (FFNNs) which is called Greedy radial basis function neural networks (GRBFNNs). Also, we introduce a modification to the greedy algorithm which is used to train the greedy radial basis function neural networks. An error bound are introduced in Sobolev space. Finally, a comparison was made between the three algorithms (modified greedy algorithm, Backpropagation algorithm and the result is published in [16]).
