On Strong Dual Rickart Modules

Gangyong Lee, S. Tariq Rizvi, and Cosmin S. Roman studied Dual Rickart modules. The main purpose of this paper is to define strong dual Rickart module. Let M and N be R- modules , M is called N- strong dual Rickart module (or relatively sd-Rickart to N)which is  denoted by M it is N-sd- Rickart if for every submodule A of M and every homomorphism fHom (M , N) , f (A) is a direct summand of N. We prove that for an R- module M , if R is M-sd- Rickart , then every cyclic submodule of M is a direct summand . In particular, if M is projective, then M is Z-regular. We give various characterizations and basic properties of this type of modules.

Application of the Two Rowed Weyl Module in the Case of Partitions (7,7) and (7, 7) / (1, 0)

The purpose of this paper is to study the application of Weyl module’s resolution in the case of two rows which will be specified in the partitions (7, 7) and (7, 7) / (1, 0), using the homological Weyl (i.e. the contracting homotopy and place polarization).

Improve the Performance of PID Controller by Two Algorithms for Controlling the DC Servo Motor

The paper uses the Direct Synthesis (DS) method for tuning the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller for controlling the DC servo motor. Two algorithms are presented for enhancing the performance of the suggested PID controller. These algorithms are Back-Propagation Neural Network and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The performance and characteristics of DC servo motor are explained. The simulation results that obtained by using Matlab program show that the steady state error is eliminated with shorter adjusted time when using these algorithms with PID controller. A comparative between the two algorithms are described in this paper to show their effectiveness, which is found that the PSO algorithm gives be

Supplemented and π-Projective Semimodules

In modules there is a relation between supplemented and Ï€-projective semimodules. This relation was introduced, explained and investigated by many authors. This research will firstly introduce a concept of "supplement subsemimodule" analogues to the case in modules: a subsemimodule Y of a semimodule W is said to be supplement of  a subsemimodule X if it is minimal with the property X+Y=W. A subsemimodule Y is called a supplement subsemimodule if it is a supplement of some subsemimodule of W. Then, the concept of supplemented semimodule will be defined as follows: an S-semimodule W is said to be supplemented if every subsemimodule of W is a supplemen

Pragmatic Awareness of Speech Acts, Politeness, and Grice Maxims of Iraqi EFL Postgraduate Students

This study examines postgraduate students’ awareness of pragmatic aspects, including Grice Maxims, Politeness, and Direct and Indirect forms of speech. According to Paul Grice’s theory of implicature, which is considered one of the most important contributions to pragmatics, this paper discusses how postgraduate students can meet the cooperative principle when communicating effectively. It also outlines how does politeness principles influence obeying or violating the maxims and how is the use of direct or indirect forms of utterances prompted by politeness. Sixteen master’s students of Linguistics and Literature were asked to take a multiple-choice test. The test will be represented along with the interpretation of each optio

Desalting of RO Waste and Drainage Water by Direct Contact Membrane Distillation

Direct contact membrane distillation is an effective method for production of fresh water from saline water. In this study two samples were used as feed solutions; the first one was RO waste from Al-Hilla Coca-Cola Factory (TDS= 2382 mg/l) and the other was Haji Ali drainage water (TDS= 4127 mg/l). Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) hydrophobic membrane supported with polypropylene (PP) was used as flat sheet form with plate and frame cell. Results proved that membrane distillation is an effective technique to produce fresh water with high quality from brine with low salinity content. With membrane area of 8x8 cm2, the volume of treated water decreased from 34.97 ml at first half hour to 33.02 ml after 180 min of

An An Accurate Estimation of Shear Wave Velocity Using Well Logging Data for Khasib Carbonate Reservoir - Amara Oil Field

Shear and compressional wave velocities, coupled with other petrophysical data, are vital in determining the dynamic modules magnitude in geomechanical studies and hydrocarbon reservoir characterization. But, due to field practices and high running cost, shear wave velocity may not available in all wells. In this paper, a statistical multivariate regression method is presented to predict the shear wave velocity for Khasib formation - Amara oil fields located in South- East of Iraq using well log compressional wave velocity, neutron porosity and density. The accuracy of the proposed correlation have been compared to other correlations. The results show that, the presented model provides accurate

Design and Feasibility Study of A Stand-Alone Home Pv Solar System in Baghdad Climate

The question asked by all researchers is when solar panels will replace the national grid, especially in the domestic sector. In this study, a rooftop stand-alone solar electric system is designed to provide all the electrical power to a house in Baghdad-Iraq, using a (How to design PV system) simulation program. The feasibility of this system compared to the performance of the national electric grid and the system of private diesel generators is determined. The proposed solar system capacity is (25 kW), and the space required and the energy payback time are (360 m2 and 7.82 years), respectively. By using the current system, the net CO2 mitigation amount is 499,518.2 tons for 30-year. The kilowatt-hour cost

Structural and Stratigraphic Study of Hartha Formation in the East Baghdad Oil Field, Central of Iraq.

Three-dimensional seismic reflection study was conducted for the Eastern
Baghdad oil field which is located in the middle part of Iraq within Al-Madaaen
province that belong to Baghdad governarate, South of Diyala River , this field
includes two southern parts (S1 and S2), the study area was about 781.905 km 2 for
the upper Cretaceous age, synthetic seismogram was generated from data of EB-5
and EB-1 wells. Saadi reflector was picked and identified to determine the Hartha
Formation. The seismic sections and time slice maps confirmed that the upper
Cretaceous age was affected by faults and the indicators of faults ended within
Hartha Formation and continue to the deeper formations with increasing intensity.
