This study deals with interpretation of stratigraphic and structural of Afaq structure area central Iraq in Qadisiyah province, about 25 km north of Diwaniyah, by using 2D seismic data. Synthetic traces are prepared by using available data of the well (WK-1)using a petrol software program to define and picking the reflectors on the seismic section. Structure interpretation includes picking a top of Zubair Formation (Late Cretaceous), while stratigraphic interpretation includes two reflectors Yamama and Gotnia Formation (Upper-Late Jurassic). Structure interpretation of Zubair Formation shows that the area a several minors and a short extend of faults, the fault system extends (NE-SW) direction. The structural interpretation of time and depth maps of Zubair Formation shows that the Afaq structure is monocline have NE-SW direction and its plunging to the east. Several stratigraphic phenomena are present in the study area, which can help us in understanding the old sedimentary environment. It could have significant hydrocarbon potentials, including Buildup, and stratigraphic trap. Buildup indicators the study area is located in shallow areas that the light reaches to make these organisms gather to build colonies and these carbonate buildups represent important oil and gas sources in many sedimentary basins. Reef stratigraphic trap is discovered by use the Instantaneous phase attribute that shows a difference in the Acoustic impedance and the nature of the reflection, as well as the closing of the peak reflector inside a trough, all point to the presence of a trap in the seismic section.
The two body model of (Core+n) within the radial wave functions of the cosh potential has been used to investigate the ground state features such as the proton, neutron and matter densities, the root mean square (RMS) nuclear proton, neutron, charge and mass radii of unstable neutron-rich 14B, 15C, 19C and 22N nuclei. The calculated results show that the two body model with the radial wave functions of the cosh potential succeeds in reproducing neutron halo in these nuclei.
An interpretive study of two-dimension seismic data of the Huwaiza oilfield was carried out using Petrel 2015 program. Twenty seismic section were used, these seismic sections were carried out at three-time stages: HH survey in 1976, 2HH survey in 1978 and AM in 1980. Mishrif and Nahr Umr reservoirs were selected to study because they are the most important reservoirs in the neighbor fields. The study showed that the structure is an anticline trending North-South, so that the field may belong to Zubair tectonic subzone rather than Tigris subzone, which is northwest-southeast trending. A hypothetical model was drawn up showing the extension of the field in the Iraqi and Iranian territories based on information from both sides, it showed t
... Show MoreA seismic study was conducted to re-interpret the Qasab and Jawan Oil fields in northwestern Iraq, south of the city of Mosul, by reprocessing many seismic sections of a number of field surveys by using the Petrel software. Two reflectors, represented by the Hartha formation, deposited during the Cretan age, and the Euphrates formation, formed during the Tertiary age, were delineated to stabilize the structural picture of these fields.
The stratigraphic study showed that the Qasab and Jawan fields represent areas of hydrocarbon accumulation. Seismic attribute analysis showed low values of instantaneous frequency in the areas of hydrocarbon accumulation. Instantaneous phase was used to determine the limits

Show MoreCollapsing building structures during recent earthquakes, especially in Northern and Eastern Kurdistan, including the 2003 earthquake in Cewlig; the 2011 earthquake in Van; and the 2017 earthquake near Halabja province, has raised several concerns about the safety of pre-seismic code buildings and emergency facilities in Erbil city. The seismic vulnerability assessment of the hospital buildings as emergency facilities is one of the necessities which have a critical role in the recovery period following earthquakes. This research aims to study in detail and to extend the present knowledge about the seismic vulnerability of the Rizgary public hospital building in Erbil city, which was constructed before releasing the seism
... Show MoreThe objective of the investigation was to analyze the structure and administration of the political system in Iraq (post-ISIS). After 2003, the Iraqi political system suffered the fundamental problem of its failure to achieve the political and social inclusion that characterizes democratic systems, to guarantee the establishment of a "state for all", while respecting differences. Political representation has moved from the system of sectarian ethnic components, under the title of consensual democracy, to the representation of leaders and the realization of their interests and the interests of their parties at the expense of the groups that claim to represent them, which complicates the problem. In this sense, the new political syste

Information is also given about period of collection, plants on which the specimens were collected. The real host plant if they are available and known are also given referring to the previous works.
The research aims at clarifying the relationship between innovative marketing skills and broad recommendation as a vital and important issue for organizations in general and service organizations in particular to demonstrate how innovative marketing skills contribute to broad adoption and to determine the relationship between interdependence and the impact of innovative marketing skills on the broad recommendation. Some questions are posed by the research problem. Is there a clear awareness among individuals in the company about the concept of marketing marketing skills and how do innovative marketing skills affect the broad recommendation of the surveyed company? How innovative marketing skills relate to the broad recommendation
... Show More3D seismic reflection structural study of (250) km² of Balad Oil field located in central part of Iraq within Salah Al-din province (Balad area) was carried out.
Faults were picked using instantaneous phase attribute of seismic sections and variance attribute of seismic time slices across 3D seismic volume.
A Listric growth normal fault is affecting the succession of Cretaceous Formation and cut by strike slip fault. In addition, minor normal faults (Dendritic and tension faults) are developed on the listric normal growth fault. As a result, a major graben is separated by Strike slip fault into two parts (north and south parts) and trend in NW-SE direction.
Twenty-two of the Starling Sturnus vulgaris Linnaeus, 1758 were collected in Baghdad city during the period from January to September, 2014, and examined for endoparasites. Ten (45.45%) were found infected with either the cestode Passerilepis crenata (Goeze, 1782) (31.81%) or the nematode Dispharynx nasuta (Rudolphi, 1819) (13.63 %). Morphometric and meristic features for these worms were expressed. D. nasuta is recorded here for the first time from S. vulgaris for Iraq.
