The study aimed to identify Trichoderma harzianum isolates morphologically and by using PCR teqnique and evaluate the antifungal activity of T. harzianum CA-07 crude extract against Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Microsporium canis from patients with dermatophytosis. T.harzianum isolates were collected from the soil of Baghdad University gardens and they were identified depending of morphological features on plate and microscopic examination. The genomic DNA of T.harzianum isolate was extracted at a final concentration of (400-600) μg / 2-3 g of wet mycelium and at a purity of 1.6-1.8and DNA sample was amplified with each of universal primers (ITS-1& ITS-4) to be used for detection of Trichoderma species. The crude extract was extracted from T.harzianum strain CA-07 by ethyl acetate with finalyield of 4.8gm., then different crude extract concentrations (0.5, 1, 2 and 4 mg/ml) were used against the clinical pathogenic fungi (T.mentagrophyte and M.canis) using agar well diffusion method. The results of identification of Trichoderma harzianum isolates by using PCR confirmed that the isolate was T.harzianum strain CA-07,and their crude extract exhibited significantly high antifungal activity against T. mentagrophyte and M. canis with high growth inhibition zones(14, 12mm) respectively at the lower concentration (0.5mg/ml)of crude extract.

The activation energy and optical band gap of different regions (p-type) polysilicon have been measured. Both microscopic studies and current-voltage characteristics of diodes prepared on different surface regions were carried out. Comparison of diodes parameters and microscopic studies indicate that the type of angles between boundaries has a significant effect on diodes parameters while the boundary lengths per unit area has less effect. The mechanism of Al-interaction with grain boundaries and their intersecting points at different temperature were also studies. Aim: This study aimed to compare different types of ligation methods to obtain maximum tooth movement with the least undesirable rotation. Methods: Titanium brackets bonded to acrylic canine teeth were ligated to straight stainless steel (SS) archwires using four ligation methods (figure-O and figure-8 elastics, SS ligatures, and Leone Slide ligatures). The teeth with the ligatures in place were stored in a water bath at 37ºC for 1 day, 1 week, 2, 4 or 6 weeks before testing. Purpose: To evaluate the effect of different surface treatments on shear bond strength between dentin and IPS e.max lithium disilicate glass-ceramic. Materials and Methods: Eighteen extracted third molars were embeded in epoxy resin. The tooth was sectioned vertically in mesiodistal direction using a low speed hard tissue microtome. The effects of scattering and secondary radiation generated inside the material on dose equivalent rate where studied using Co60 and Cs137 sources of activity (199.8 , 177.6) MBq , respectively for different thicknesses of Al , Pb and Pb- glass . The results showed that the equivalent rate increases when the effect of scattering was included for Al and Pb shields with cobalt-60 source of energy 1.25 MeV ; and decreases for Pb shield with Cs-137 source of energy 0.662MeV .The results showed also that the atomic number of The material effects the dose equivalent rate . The Pb-glass shield was found to be more efficient in absorption than other shields.
