The specific activity of 29 soil samples collected from Fuel
Fabrication Facility FFF at AL-Tuwaitha site, 20 km south of
Baghdad were determined using HPGe detector in a low background
configuration, it's relative efficiency of 40%, and resolution of 2keV
for the 1332 keV gamma ray emission of 60Co. The range of activity
concentrations of 226Ra, 232Th and 40K were between (12.56-31.96),
(10.2-18.4) and (47.47-402.1) Bq/kg respectively. In order to assess
any radiological hazard to human health, the absorbed gamma dose
rate D in air at 1m above the ground surface was calculated in the
range (18.87 to 36.46) nGy/h; the outdoor annual effective dose
equivalent AEDE was evaluated to vary from 0.0039 to 0.0076

  In this study, bauxite and modified bauxite /polymer, which were prepared as an adsorbent surfaces to adsorption of the tetracycline from aqueous solutions. A series of adsorption experiments were conducted to determine the equilibrium time and temperature effect on the adsorption process. The results showed that adsorption was agreed with the Freundlich equation model for the surface of the bauxite. One of the most demanded studies is wind turbine site assessment. It is difficult to build a simulation program because of the many variables that affect the wind speed and direction. The procedure of this research depend on two approaches, the Wind Atlas Analysis model and the Inverse Distance Wait interpolation. These procedures give the estimated annual energy production for each turbine (V82) with 82m blades diameter at 70m hub heights. The output at this location for each turbine is about (4.3 GWh). The studied area is about 20x20km2 and could be plant at least 600 turbine and have about 2500 GWh of annual energy production.

In this Paper, There are attempts to compare the actual Observation Days in Decametric range (18-28 MHz), For Jupiter received by UFRO Earths’ station with the Prediction Observation Days that the Jupiter can be observed at Jupiter’s suitable location. The Jupiter’s Radio Observations actual data during year 2004, was taken from (Radio JOVE Data Archive website). The determination of the prediction days carried out by using the (Radio-Jupiter pro Jove Edition) software for Jupiter radio storms at UFRO station coordinates. Some Cases are considered according to Jupiter’s altitudes and Sun location at UFRO station Sky.
