Total Electron Content measurements derived from Athens station ionograms (ITEC),
located near Iraq, during the ascending phase of solar cycle 24 (July 2009- April 2010),
according to availability of data, are compared with the latest version of the International
Reference Ionosphere model, IRI-2012 (IRI TEC), using two options (NeQuick, IRI01-
Corr) for topside electron density.
The results obtained from both (ITEC and IRI TEC) techniques were similar, where
correlation coefficients between them are very high. Generally, the IRI predictions
overestimate the ITEC values.

In this study; a three-dimensional model was created to simulate groundwater in Al-Haydariyah area of the governorate of Al-Najaf. A solid model was created to utilize the cross sections of 25 boreholes in the research region, and it was made out of two layers: sand and clay. The steady-state calibration was employed in six observation wells to calibrate the model and establish the hydraulic conductivity, which was 17.49 m/d for sand and 1.042 m/d for clay, with a recharge rate of 0.00007 m/day.   In this work, we construct and classify the projectively distinct (k,3)-arcs in PG(2,9), where k ≥ 5, and prove that the complete (k,3)-arcs do not exist, where 5 ≤ k ≤ 13. We found that the maximum complete (k,3)-arc in PG(2,q) is the (16,3)-arc and the minimum complete (k,3)-arc in PG(2,q) is the (14,3)-arc. Moreover, we found the complete (k,3)-arcs between them.
