A new, simple and sensitive method was used forevaluation of propranolol withphosphotungstic acidto prove the efficiency, reliability and repeatability of the long distance chasing photometer (NAG-ADF-300-2) using continuous flow injection analysis. The method is based on reaction between propranolol and phosphotungstic acid in an aqueous medium to obtain a yellow precipitate. Optimum parameters was studied to increase the sensitivity for developed method. In this paper we investigate the use of two types of local search methods (LSM), the Simulated Annealing (SA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), to solve the problems ( ) and . The results of the two LSMs are compared with the Branch and Bound method and good heuristic methods. This work shows the good performance of SA and PSO compared with the exact and heuristic methods in terms of best solutions and CPU time.

In this paper, a subspace identification method for bilinear systems is used . Wherein a " three-block " and " four-block " subspace algorithms are used. In this algorithms the input signal to the system does not have to be white . A Modified version of the Generlized standard addition method ( GSAM) was developed. This modified version was used for the quantitative determination of arginine   (Arg) and glycine ( Gly) in arginine  acetyl salicylate – glycine complex .
