Radiotherapy is medical use of ionizing radiation, and commonly applied to the
cancerous tumor because of its ability to control cell growth.
The amount of radiation used in photon radiation therapy called dose (measured
in grey unit), which depend on the type and stage of cancer being treated.
In our work, we studied the dose distribution given to the tumor at different
depths (zero-20 cm) treated with different field size (4×4- 23×23 cm).
Results show that the deeper treated area has less dose rate at the same beam
quality and quantity. Also it has been noted increasing in the field increasing in the
depth dose at the same depth even if the radiation energy is constant. Increasing in
radiation dose attributed to the scattered radiation, which is expected,
proportionately with increase in the beam size. The aim of work studies the

This paper presents the dynamic responses of generators in a multi-machine power system. The fundamental swing equations for a multi-machine stability analysis are revisited. The swing equations are solved to investigate the influence of a three-phase fault on the network largest load bus. The Nigerian 330kV transmission network was used as a test case for the study. The time domain simulation approach was explored to determine if the system could withstand a 3-phase fault. The stability of the transmission network is estimated considering the dynamic behaviour of the system under various contingency conditions. The aim of the current research is to measure the sense of coherence among individuals with physical disabilities. The researcher adopted a scale of (29) paragraphs spread over three domains designed by Antonovski (1993) to measure the sense of coherence. A sample of (210) disabled individuals was chosen randomly to collect the required data. The data were analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The result showed a lack of sense of coherence among the sample.
Snakes, or active contours, are used extensively in computer vision and image processing applications, particularly to locate object boundaries. In this research, for the segmentation of anatomical structures in medical images three approaches were implemented and compared like (original snake model, distance potential force model and Gradient Vector Flow (GVF) snake model). A Monte Carlo simulation has been used to design program which simulate gamma rays backscattering system. Gamma ray backscattering is very important to get useful information about shielding, absorption and counting problems. Simulation was done of a 661.6 KeV from a collimated point source of 137Cs. When increasing the scattering angle of photon which emerging from Iron target , as the incident gamma beam angles of 15°, 45° and 75°, the results showed that the single scattering count decreases.
