There are different types of young isolated NSs: radio pulsars, compact central X-ray sources in supernova, magentas: anomalous x-ray pulsars (AXPs) and soft gamma-ray repeaters (SGRs).This paper shows that the value of magnetic field (B), characteristic age ( ), spin down luminosity ( equilibrium period ( and Flux density ( ) was determined depending on some properties of pulsar star, such as the value of period of the pulsar (P) and the time derivative period ( for sample stars which were adopted. In this research, the TEC parameter has been determined for the ionosphere layer over the Iraqi zone. The calculations of this parameter have been conducted using the IRI model that considered as one of the recommended international models which used to calculate the ionosphere parameter (TEC). The determinations have been made for several sites or sites that located within the Iraqi territory. The years (2011-2013) of the solar cycle 24 have been adopted to make the determinations for the TEC parameter.The capital Baghdad has been selected to represent the transmitter station and many different communication points which are located in different directions around the transmitter station have been represented as receiving stations.

Corrosion experiments were carried out to investigate the effect of several operating parameters on the corrosion rate and corrosion potential of carbon steel in turbulent flow conditions in the absence and presence of sodium benzoate inhibitor using electrochemical polarization technique. These parameters were rotational velocity (0 - 1.57 m/s), temperature (30oC – 50oC), and time. The effect of these parameters on the corrosion rate and inhibition efficiency were investigated and discussed.
