Iraq is one of the Arabian area countries, which considered from the drier areas
on the earth, though it has two main rivers that pass through(Tigris and Euphrates);
it suffers the same problem as them (drought), only the rivers' nearby regions make
use of their water for (domestic, agricultural, and industrial purposes(.
One of the usable solutions is to utilize the groundwater (especially in the desert
regions). Using the Remote Sensing and geographic information system is a rapid
and coast effective techniques, they provide information of large and inaccessible
area within short span for assessing, monitoring, and management of groundwater
resources. In this study, an adaptive algorithm based on Canny edge detector noise
reduction idea and directional filters scheme submitted for lineaments automatically
extraction from LandSat7 (Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus) ETM+ band 7 data
considering the lineaments spatial and spectral characteristics, yet the algorithm
validation examined using ancillary data of the same interest (Iraq tectonic map and
90m SRTM DEM). The analysis process achieved using Arc GIS 9.3 to recognize
the potential groundwater renewal and/ or accumulative zones in the selected arid to
semi-arid area (AL-Dibdibba formation basin).

Abstract Throughout this paper R represents commutative ring with identity and M is a unitary left R-module, the purpose of this paper is to study a new concept, (up to our knowledge), named St-closed submodules. It is stronger than the concept of closed submodules, where a submodule N of an R-module M is called St-closed (briefly N ≤Stc M) in M, if it has no proper semi-essential extensions in M, i.e if there exists a submodule K of M such that N is a semi-essential submodule of K then N = K. An ideal I of R is called St-closed if I is an St-closed R-submodule. Various properties of St-closed submodules are considered.

We examine the integrability in terms of Painlevè analysis for several models of higher order nonlinear solitary wave equations which were recently derived by Christou. Our results point out that these equations do not possess Painlevè property and fail the Painlevè test for some special values of the coefficients; and that indicates a non-integrability criteria of the equations by means of the Painlevè integrability.
The nuclear size radii, density distributions and elastic electron scattering charge form factors for Fluorine isotopes (17,19,20,24,26F) were studied using the radial wave functions (WF) of harmonic-oscillator (HO) potential and free mean field described by spherical Hankel functions (SHF) for the core and the valence parts, respectively for all aforementioned isotopes. The parameters for HO potential (size parameter ) and SHF were chosen to regenerate the available experimental size radii. It was found that using spherical Hankel functions in our work improved the calculated results quantities in comparison with empirical data.
The current research aims to identify the problems and needs for both college of political science and college of engineering’s students. The sample was (100) male and female student. The results showed bunch of problems which could be organized descendingly, the scientific domain ranged between (2 - 2.42), the mean of the psychological domain was (2.85), the moral domain ranged between (2.2 – 2.28)m the problems of study earned (2.30), the material domain got (1.95), the medical and social domain obtained (1.925), and finally, the family domain received (1.887).
The present study was conducted to investigate the relationship between critical thinking, epistemological beliefs, and learning strategies with the academic performance of high school first-grade male and female students in Yazd. For this purpose, from among all first-grade students, as many as 250 students (130 females and 120 males) were selected by using multistage cluster sampling.
