Gallium arsenide diamondoids structural and vibrational properties are investigated using density functional theory at the PBE/6-31(d) level and basis including polarization functions. Variation of energy gap as these diamondoids increase in size is seen to follow confinement theory for diamondoids having nearly equiaxed dimensions. Density of energy states transforms from nearly single levels to band structure as we reach larger diamondoids. Bonds of surface hydrogen with As atoms are relatively localized and shorter than that bonded to Ga atoms. Isovaleryl CoA dehydrogenase (IVDH) is a flavoprotein that introduce a trans-double bond between C2 and C3 of the isovaleryl CoA substrate, an intermediate in leucine catabolism pathway. Interrogation of the Paracoccus denitrificans Pd1222 genome has identified Pden_3633 gene as a candidate to encode for IVDH. In previous study by Rafid et al (under the publishing), this putative IVDH was expressed in E. coli and purified as N-terminal Strep-tagged protein. We have carried out multi color CCD surface photometry on the spiral galaxies NGC 4800 and NGC 2715 using 1.88 m optical telescope of Kottamia Astronomical Observatory. From these observations, the surface brightness, Ellipticity, position angle and color indices profiles are studied. Stellar populations in different regions of the galaxies are analyzed using color indices diagrams. We found that the galaxy NGC 4800 has a diffuse bright nuclear region and the asymmetry of the bar is due to the nonuniform distribution of dust in the galaxy.
