Prepared zeolite type A was used for theremoval of cesium ions from aqueous solution. The experimental data were analyzed by Langmuir, Freundlich isotherms. Various parameters, such as contact time, zeolite weight, pH, and initial concentration, were studied. The results indicated that the highest removal efficiency was95.53% at (2h time, 0.04 g weight, and pH=6.8). The results also showed that the Freundlic model fits well with the experimental results and is better than the Langmuir model.

A field experiment was conducted at the field of the Dept. of Field Crop Sci. / College of Agriculture / University of Baghdad . The objective was to determine the values of relative constant of three – way and double crosses of maize . Ten inbreds were used and crossed during spring and fall seasons of 2009 to produce three - way and double crosses , and ten hybrids were taken from each group . The ten hybrids were grown and selfed during spring 2010 to produce 2 seed . Three way and double crosses were sown with their parents and 2 seed during fall 2010 in RCBD with four replicates . All international conventions and agreements stress the necessity of the role of media and its importance in the light of corruption. All countries also commit themselves to the necessity of guaranteeing the freedom of media and the circulation of information and preparing it as a prerequisite for activating the People’s Control Mechanism and supporting measures and means to prevent and combat financial and administrative corruption more actively and effectively.

In this paper, the Monte Carlo N-Particle extended  computer code (MCNP) were used to design a model of the European Sodium-cooled Fast Reactor. The multiplication factor, conversion factor, delayed neutrons fraction, doppler constant, control rod worth, sodium void worth, masses for major heavy nuclei, radial and axial power distribution at high burnup are studied. The results show that the reactor breeds fissile isotopes with a conversion ratio of 0.994 at fuel burnup 70 (GWd/T), and minor actinides are buildup inside the reactor core. The study aims to check the efficiency of the model on the calculation of the neutronic parameters of the core at high burnup.

A particulate polymer composite material was prepared by reinforcing with the Aluminum Oxide (Al₂O₃) or Aluminum (Al) metallic particles with a particle size of (30) µm to an unsaturated Polyester Resin with a weight fraction of (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%).
