Serum levels of iron,copper,ceruloplasmin and transferrine were estimated in three groups of patients with ?- thalassemia: 24 patients have splenectomy thalassemia major, 29 patients have non splenectomy thalassemia major and 19 patients have thalassemia intermedia , data were compared to normal and pathological controls (anemia and minor). There were significant increase in trace element levels in all studied groups of pateints as compared to normal and pathological controls.   The paper reports the influence of the thickness on the some optical properties of Fe2O3 thin films,which were prepared by chemical Spray  pyrolysis technique on glass substrate heated to 400Ëšc.The thickness of thin films (250,280,350)nm were measured by using weighting method. The optical properties include the absorbance and reflectance spectra,extinction coefficient,and real and imaginary part of the dielectric constant.The result  showed that the optical constant(k,εr,εi)decreased with the increase of the thickness.

This study included preparation for the unsaturated polyester samples before and after reinforced by Alumina oxide powder and copper oxide powder of different volume fraction amounting (3%,5%,8%). And this reearch included study of some of mechanical properties such as (hardness,compressive and wear).The results showed that increase of the hardness and compressive strength after the reinforced and increase with the volume fraction increase.As the wear test show that the wear rate increases with applied load from the different load(5,10,15)N,and the wear rate decreases with the volume fraction increase.

  We have studied the effect of gamma irradiation on the optical transmission, absorbance, absorption coefficient,  and Urbach energy for (PMMA- doped red methyl) film deposited by using solvent casting method .The optical transmission (T %) in the wavelength range (1901100 ) nm of films was measured , it was seen that all the parameters were affected by gamma irradiation.
