Synthesis of Au –Ag– Cu trimetallic alloy nanoparticles prepared by electrical exploding wire technique in distilled water
...Show More Authors

Formation of Au–Ag–Cu ternary alloy nanoparticles (NPs) is of particular interest because this trimetallic system have miscible (Au–Ag and Au–Cu) and immiscible (Ag– Cu) system. So there is a possibility of phase segregation in this ternary system. At this challenge it was present attempts synthetic technique to generate such trimetallic alloy nanoparticles by exploding wire technique. The importance of preparing nanoparticles alloys in distilled water and in this technique makes the possibility of obtaining nanoparticles free of any additional chemical substance and makes it possible to be used in the treatment of cancer or diseases resulting from bacterial or virus with least toxic. In this work, three metals alloys Au-Ag-Cu nanoparticles (A, B, and C) were prepared by exploding wire with different ratio of each elements. A high purity wire with diameters (0.3mm) against plate of these alloys were held at 20V with respect to the wire achieving different currents of 75, 100 and 160 A in distilled water and then the size and a shape of the synthesized alloy nanoparticles modify by pulse laser with different energies, where the colloids of nanoparticles were exposed to one thousand pulses of 532 nm wavelengths per pulse from second harmonic Nd-YAG laser, after it has been focused by a lens with 15 cm focal length. The structural properties were studied using x-ray diffraction. It was found that alloy nanoparticles with crystalline structure identical with face center cubic (fcc) and there is a new phase was appear for the A alloy this phase have the name tetragonal AuCu. It can be concludes that electrical explosion wire in liquid medium (EEW) is promising technique for preparation metal alloy Au-Ag-Cu nanoparticles.

Background:

Education by lectures has been standard for 100 years or more. Given the 21st century technology, people can connect with others around the world instantly, electronically. With the pandemic, teaching changed to one-way information transfer with the loss of interpersonal learning experience. SNI® and now SNI Digital have been experimenting with different forms of communication to transfer information.

Methods:

Using an interactive education model, a meeting for neurosurgeons in Baghdad was held for students, residents, and neurosurgeons

Experimental Study on the Impact of External Geometrical Shape on Free and Forced Convection Time Dependent Average Heat Transfer Coefficient during Cooling Process
...Show More Authors

In this research, an experimental study was conducted to high light the impact of the exterior shape of a cylindrical body on the forced and free convection heat transfer coefficients when the body is hold in the entrance of an air duct. The impact of changing the body location within the air duct and the air speed are also demonstrated. The cylinders were manufactured with circular, triangular and square sections of copper for its high thermal conductivity with appropriate dimensions, while maintaining the surface area of all shapes to be the same. Each cylinder was heated to a certain temperature and put inside the duct at certain locations. The temperature of the cylinder was then monitored. The heat transfer coefficient were then cal

A novel Schiff base ligand [N1-benzylidenebenezene-1,2-diamine(L) = C20H16N2] was prepared through intensification of benzaldehyde (C6H5CHO) and O- amino aniline O-C6H4(NH2)2 in ethanol with 8-Hydroxyquinoline (8HQ) . Formed compounds were acquired of 1:1:2 molar proportion reactions for metal ions and ligands (L) and 2(8HQ) during reaction for MCl2 .nH2O salt products complexes conformable into the forms [M(L)(8HQ)2] ,where M = Mn(II),Co(II) and Ni(II). Whole the compounds were identified during the basis of their; FT-IR and U.V spectrum, melting point, molar conduct, identify of the percentage from the metal at the complexes via flame (AAS), C, H and N content of the Schiff base (L) and metal complexes were analysis and magnetic susceptib

Determinations of The Depths to Magnetic Sources Over Al-Ma′Aniyah Depression Area-Southwest Iraq Using The Aeromagnetic Data and Their Tectonic Implication
...Show More Authors

Tectonically, the location of the Al-Ma'aniyah depression area is far from active boundary zones, their tectonic features have to reflect the original depositional environments with some horizontal movement due to rearrangement of the basement blocks during different actives orogenic movements. So, the analysis of aeromagnetic data were considered to estimate the thickness and structural pattern of the sedimentary cover sequences for this area. The aeromagnetic data, which are derived from Iraqi GEOSURV to Al-Ma′aniyah region is analyzed and processed for qualitative and quantitative interpretations. The process includes reducing the aeromagnetic data to pole RTP, separation the aeromagnetic data to regional an

This study relates to  the estimation of  a simultaneous equations system for the Tobit model where the dependent variables  ( )  are limited, and this will affect the method to choose the good estimator. So, we will use new estimations methods  different from the classical methods, which if used in such a case, will produce biased and inconsistent estimators which is (Nelson-Olson) method  and  Two- Stage limited dependent variables(2SLDV) method  to get of estimators that hold characteristics the good estimator .

Abstract:

The models of time series often suffer from the problem of the existence of outliers that accompany the data collection process for many reasons, their existence may have a significant impact on the estimation of the parameters of the studied model. Access to highly efficient estimators  is one of the most important stages of statistical analysis, And it is therefore important to choose the appropriate methods to obtain good  estimators. The aim of this research is to compare the ordinary estimators and the robust estimators of the estimation of the parameters of

Background: Recent advancements in molecular techniques have identified over 450 genotypes of Human Papillomavirus (HPV), classified into low- and high-oncogenic risk categories. The rise in high-oncogenic risk HPV genotypes has been linked to various cancers, including those affecting the oral, oropharyngeal, and nasopharyngeal regions in both pediatric and adult populations. Methods: In this study, a cohort of 102 tonsillar tissue samples was included. This comprised 40 specimens from pediatric patients aged 4 to 9 years with nasopharyngeal adenoid hypertrophies, and 42 specimens from pediatric patients aged 5 to 12 years with palatine tonsillar hypertrophies. Among the 82 tonsillar tissue samples analyzed, 38 were from pediatric patients
