Comparative Histological Study of Dentinopulpal Responses in Class I Cavity Treated by Er: YAG Laser and Conventional Cavity Preparations: An in Vivo Trial
...Show More Authors

The purpose of this study is to investigate the histopathological response of dentinopulpal
response of human teeth to the Er: YAG laser cavity preparation in comparison with the conventional
class I cavity preparation. Thirty five sound human upper and lower first premolar teeth which were
needed to be extracted for orthodontic purposes were used in the study. Regarding to the method of
cavity preparation, the teeth were grouped into three groups; Group1; Control group which consists of
seven sound teeth without cavity preparation, Group2; Conventional cavity preparation group and group
3; Er: YAG laser cavity preparation group. Each of Group2 and3 consists of fourteen teeth that is
subdivided into: A. 7teeth that extracted after two days after cavity preparation and B. 7 teeth that
extracted after twenty-one days after cavity preparation. Er: YAG Laser device emits radiation at
wavelength of 2940 nm in the infrared region. The laser irradiation was performed in a non-contact mode
with a focused beam of (energy density of 155985.96 mJ /cm2, energy of 600 mJ and a PRRs of 6 Hz for
enamel preparation) and (energy density=64994.151 mJ /cm2, energy = 250 mJ and a PRRs=4 Hz for
dentin preparation) with a spot diameter of 0.7mm at 12-15 mm distance and at right angle to the tooth
surface as possible. The histopathological results of the cavities prepared by Er: YAG Laser revealed the
early proliferation of the odontoblasts in the odontoblastic layer of the coronal part of the pulp which led
to the early formation of the reparative dentin in comparison to those prepared by conventional method.
It can be concluded that the use of the Er: YAG laser in class I cavity preparation has proved to be an
efficient technique in comparison to the conventional cavity preparation.

Background: Tooth decay is still one of most common diseases of childhood, child’s primary teeth are important even though they aretemporary. This study was conducted to assess the physiochemical characteristic of saliva among caries experience preschool children and compared them with caries free matching in age and gender. Then an evaluation was done about these salivary characteristics to dental caries and evaluated the relation of body mass index to dental caries and to salivary variables. Materials and method: After examination 360 children aged 4-5 years of both gender. Background: Proper cleaning and shaping of the whole root canal space have been recognized as a real challenge, particularly in oval-shaped canals. This in vitro study was conducted to evaluate and compare the efficiency of different instrumentation systems in removing of dentin debris at three thirds of oval-shaped root canals and to compare the percentage of remaining dentin debris among the three thirds for each instrumentation system. Materials and methods: Fifty freshly extracted human mandibular molars with single straight oval-shaped distal root canals were randomly divided into five groups of ten teeth each. Group One: instrumentation with ProTaper Universal hand instruments, Group Two: instrumentation with ProTaper Universal rotary

This study presents the effect of laser energy on burning loss of magnesium from the holes' drilled in aluminum alloy 5052. High energy free running pulsed Nd:Glass laser of 300 µs pulse duration has been used to perform the experiments. The laser energy was varied from 1.0 to 8.0 Joules, The drilling processes have been carried out under atmospheric pressure and vacuum inside a specially designed chamber. Microhardness of the blind drilled holes has been investigated .The results indicated that the magnesium loss could be manipulated by adjusting the focusing conditions of the laser beam. Almost, the obtained holes were free of cracks with low taper and low sputter deposition. .The holes performed under atmospheric conditions have high

The love of the world and its lusts The preference and bliss of the Hereafter In Surat Al-Imran: "objective study"

The love of the world and its lusts are the head of sins and the corruptors of religion, and the one who loves and loves them who prefers them over the hereafter is one of the most pitiful of creation, and the least intelligent of them, as he prefers imagination over reality, sleep over wakefulness, fleeting shadow over eternal bliss and the mortal abode over the eternal abode, and he sold the life of eternity for the most luxurious life. In life, it is dreams and sleep or as a fleeting shadow, and as it was said: The intelligent person is not deceived.
The reason for choosing this topic is due to two things:
The first: When I contemplated the reasons for the differences and conflicts that afflicted our wounded and occupied country
