The present study included the effect of acute exposure of different concentrations of sodium chloride on the Zooplankton Crustacean Daphnia pulex which belong to the order Cladocera. The lethal concentrations killing 50% of the population (LC50) after 24hrs and 48hrs were 2.95‰ and 2.63‰ respectively While lethal concentrations killing 100%  of the population (LC100) and non lethal concentrations (LC0) were 6‰ and 0.5‰ after 24hrs of exposure to NaCl. This study presents the effect of laser energy on burning loss of magnesium from the holes' drilled in aluminum alloy 5052. High energy free running pulsed Nd:Glass laser of 300 µs pulse duration has been used to perform the experiments. In this study the effect of fiber volume fraction of the glass fiber on the thermal conductivity of the polymer composite material was studied. Different fiber volume fraction of glass fibers were used (3%, 6%, 9%, 12%, and 15%). Specimens were made from polyester which reinforced with glass fibers .The fibers had two arrangements according to the direction of the thermal flow.
