The present work determination astronomical ephemeris for satellites (determination position and velocity of satellite and orbital elements) in elliptical orbit where orbital elements in perigee point were known, therefore kepler's equation for elliptical orbit was solved by using Newton-Rephson method for numerical approximation. For the hyperbola orbit which represent orbit of shuttle (discovery join) far rang where solve kepler equation for hyperbola by use the same method pervious and then determination the coordinates of position and velocity for satellite or shuttle and the required programs are designing

An Optimum Strategy for Producing Precise GPS Satellite Orbits using Double-Differenced Observations
...Show More Authors

Both the double-differenced and zero-differenced GNSS positioning strategies have been widely used by the geodesists for different geodetic applications which are demanded for reliable and precise positions. A closer inspection of the requirements of these two GNSS positioning techniques, the zero-differenced positioning, which is known as Precise Point Positioning (PPP), has gained a special importance due to three main reasons. Firstly, the effective applications of PPP for geodetic purposes and precise applications depend entirely on the availability of the precise satellite products which consist of precise satellite orbital elements, precise satellite clock corrections, and Earth orientation parameters. Secondly, th

The Solar Attraction Effect on Orbital Elements of the Moon
...Show More Authors

In this paper, the solar attraction effect on the Moon orbital elements had been studied. The solar attraction considered a third body perturbation. The initial values of the Moon orbital elements at 2015-1-21.5 which are used (semi major axis=380963.78 km, eccentricity =0.056o, Eular angles (Ω=30°, ω=40°, , i=18.4°). The Moon in a perigee of its orbit at the initial time. A program which designed, was used to calculate the Moon position ,velocity and orbital elements through the years (2015-2035). The position and velocity components of the Moon were calculated by solving the equation of Kepler for elliptical orbit using Newton Raphson's method for (1000) periods and hundred steps of time for each period. The results show a secular

Study the variation of synodic month for the moon through 2000-2100
...Show More Authors

In this research study the synodic month for the moon and their
relationship with the mean anomaly for the moon orbit and date A.D
and for long periods of time (100 years), we was design a computer
program that calculates the period of synodic months, and the
coordinates of the moon at the moment of the new moon with high
accuracy. During the 100 year, there are 1236 period of synodic
months.
We found that the when New Moon occurs near perigee (mean
anomaly = 0°), the length of the synodic month at a minimum.
Similarly, when New Moon occurs near apogee (mean anomaly =
180°), the length of the synodic month reaches a maximum. The
shortest synodic month on 2053 /1/ 16 and lasted (29.27436) days.

The Orbital Elements Variation of the Moon Through 2000-2100
...Show More Authors

The locations of the Moon, velocity and distance were determined through hundred years using a modified formula Meeus 1998, which is used to calculate the orbit's elements, Additionally which allows us to specify the possible date for monitoring the crescent moon. In this project we describe the orbits, orbit types and orbital elements than describe the orbit of the Moon and the perturbations effect on shape and direction of the Moon's orbit, the orbital elements effect by the all perturbation were calculated directly using empirical formula. The orbital elements of the Moon's orbit for 1326 anomalies months are calculated by our Q. Basic programs and the time variation of the Moon's orbital element with perturbations can be computed by

The Effect of SRP and Lunar Attraction on the Inclined MEO Satellite
...Show More Authors

In this paper some perturbations of a satellite orbit with heights more than 10000 km are studied. The two perturbations are due to the presence of other gravitational bodies such as Moon as a conservative perturbing forces and from the non-conservative perturbing forces such as SRP for satellite with A=5.1 m2 and m=900 kg. The position, velocity and momentum components are calculated for the perturbed equation of motion at any instant of time and thus calculate the orbital elements of each perturbation. The orbital elements for the perturbed orbit will deviate from initial elements with time. The equations of motion solved numerically using the fourth order of Runge Kutta method. The results show that the secular variation for orbital e

Calculation the Venus orbital properties and the variation of its position
...Show More Authors

Venus orbit around the Sun is an ellipse inside the Earth orbit. The elements of Venus orbit and its position are affected by the gravitational force of near planets therefore the elements were determined with Julian date through ten years 2011-2020. The orbital elements used to calculate Venus distance from the Sun, the heliocentric and geocentric equatorial coordinates. From the results the orbit of Venus and its position were described and show the gravity effect of near planets on it. The results get the values and their variation through ten years for the eccentricity, semi-major axis, inclination, longitude of ascending node, argument of perihelion, mean anomaly and distance from the Sun. The variation is very small through 10 year

Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease causes permanent morbidity, premature mortality and great burden to the healthcare system. Smoking is it's most common risk factor and Spirometry is for diagnosing COPD and monitoring its progression.

Objectives: Early detection of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in symptomatic smokers’ ≥ 40years by spirometry.

Methods: A cross sectional study on all symptomatic smokers aged ≥ 40 years attending ten PHCCs in Baghdad Alkarkh and Alrisafa. Those whose FEV1/FVC was <70% on spirometry; after giving bronchodilator, were considered COPD +ve.

Results:  Overall, airway obstruction was seen in

Calculation Mars – Earth distance and Mars orbital elements with Julian date
...Show More Authors

In this paper, the Mars orbital elements were calculated. These orbital elements—the major axis, the inclination (i), the longitude of the ascending node (W), the argument of the perigee (w), and the eccentricity (e)—are essential to knowing the size and shape of Mars' orbit. The quick basic program was used to calculate the orbital elements and distance of Mars from the Earth from 25/5/1950 over 10000 days. These were calculated using the empirical formula of Meeus, which depended on the Julian date, which slightly changed for 10000 days; Kepler's equation was solved to find Mars' position and its distance from the Sun. The ecliptic and equatorial coordinates of Mars were calculated. The distance between Mars and the center of the E

Re-Evaluation Solution Methods for Kepler's Equation of an Elliptical Orbit
...Show More Authors

An evaluation was achieved by designing a matlab program to solve Kepler’s equation of an elliptical orbit for methods (Newton-Raphson, Danby, Halley and Mikkola). This involves calculating the Eccentric anomaly (E) from mean anomaly (M=0°-360°) for each step and for different values of eccentricities (e=0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9). The results of E were demonstrated that Newton’s- Raphson Danby’s, Halley’s can be used for e between (0-1). Mikkola’s method can be used for e between (0-0.6).The term  that added to Danby’s method to obtain the solution of Kepler’s equation is not influence too much on the value of E. The most appropriate initial Gauss value was also determined to
