The structural, optical properties of copper oxide thin films ( CuO) thin films which have been prepared by thermal oxidation with exist air once and oxygen another have been studied. Structural analysis results of Cu thin films demonstrate that the single phase of Cu with high a crystalline structure with a preferred orientation (111). X-ray diffraction results confirm the formation of pure (CuO) phase in both methods of preparation. The optical constant are investigated and calculated such as absorption coefficient, refractive index, extinction coefficient and the dielectric constants for the wavelengths in the range (300-1100) nm.
Films of CdSe have been prepared by evaporation technique with thickness 1µm. Doping with Cu was achieved using annealing under argon atmosphere . The Structure properties of these films are investigated by X-ray diffraction analysis. The effect of Cu doping on the orientation , relative intensity, grain size and the lattice constant has been studied. The pure CdSe films have been found consist of amorphous structure with very small peak at (002) plane. The films were polycrystalline for doped CdSe with (1&2wt%) Cu contents and with lattice constant (a=3.741,c=7.096)A°, and it has better crystallinty as the Cu contents increased to (3&5wt%) Cu. The reflections from [(002), (102). (110), (112), and (201)]planes are more prominen

Chalcopyrite thin films ternary Silver Indium Diselenide AgInSe2 (AIS) pure and Aluminum Al doped with ratio 0.03 was prepared using thermal evaporation with a vacuum of 7*10-6 torr on glass with (400) nm thickness for study the structural and optical properties. X-ray diffraction was used to show the inflance of Al ratio dopant on structural properties. X-ray diffraction show that thin films AIS pure, Al doped at RT and annealing at 573 K are polycrystalline with tetragonal structure with preferential orientation (112). raise the crystallinity degree. ... Show MoreCdS films were prepared by thermal evaporation technique at thickness 1 µm on glass substrates and these films were doped with indium (3%) by thermal diffusion method. The electrical properties of these have been investigated in the range of diffusion temperature (473-623 K)> Activation energy is increased with diffusion temperature unless at 623 K activation energy had been decreased. Hall effect results have shown that all the films n-type except at 573 and 623 K and with increase diffusion temperature both of concentration and mobility carriers were increased.
In this study the alloys Ge xS1-x with different Ge content (x=0, 0.1,0.2 and 0.3) wt.% have been successfully prepared by evacuated quartz tube under vacuum pressure (10−2Torr), whereas Ge xS1-x thin films were prepared by thermal evaporation technique under vacuum (10−5Torr) with (x=0,0.1,0.2 and 0.3). The optical properties measurements shows that the optical energy gap decrease from (3.4 to 3 eV) with the increase of x content, the optical constants declare significant variation with x content variation.
The electrical properties of polycrystalline cadmium telluride thin films of different thickness (200,300,400)nm deposited by thermal evaporation onto glass substrates at room temperature and treated at different annealing temperature (373, 423, 473) K are reported. Conductivity measurements have been showed that the conductivity increases from 5.69X10-5 to 0.0011, 0.0001 (?.cm)-1 when the film thickness and annealing temperature increase respectively. This increasing in ?d.c due to increasing the carrier concentration which result from the excess free Te in these films.
In this study, pure SnO2 Nanoparticles doped with Cu were synthesized by a chemical precipitation method. Using SnCl2.2H2O, CuCl2.2H2O as raw materials, the materials were annealed at 550°C for 3 hours in order to improve crystallization. The XRD results showed that the samples crystallized in the tetragonal rutile type SnO2 stage. As the average SnO2 crystal size is pure 9nm and varies with the change of Cu doping (0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, 2.5%, 3%),( 8.35, 8.36, 8.67, 9 ,7, 8.86)nm respectively an increase in crystal size to 2.5% decreases at this rate and that the crystal of SnO2 does not change with the introduction of Cu, and S

The Cu2SiO3 composite has been prepared from the binary compounds (Cu2O, and SiO2) with high purity by solid state reaction. The Cu2SiO3 thin films were deposited at room temperature on glass and Si substrates with thickness 400 nm by pulsed laser deposition method. X-ray analysis showed that the powder of Cu2SiO3 has a polycrystalline structure with monoclinic phase and preferred orientation along (111) direction at 2θ around 38.670o which related to CuO phase. While as deposited and annealed Cu2SiO3 films have amorphous structure. The morphological study revealed that the grains have granular and elliptical shape, with average diameter of 163.63 nm. The electrical properties which represent Hall effect were investigated. Hall coeffici
