Multipole mixing ratios for gamma transition populated in from reaction have been studied by least square fitting method also transition strength ] for pure gamma transitions have been calculated taking into account the mean life time for these levels .
Background: COVID-19 is a disease that started in Wuhan/China in late 2019 and continued through 2020 worldwide. Scientists worldwide continue to research to find vaccines, treatments, and medication for this disease. Studies also conenue to find the pathogenicity and epidemiology mechanisms. Materials and Methods: In this work, we analyzed cases obtained from Alshifaa center in Baghdad/Iraq for 23/2/2020-31/5/2020 with total instances of 797, positive cases of 393, and death cases of 30. Results: Results showed that the highest infection cases were among people aged between 41-45. Also, it was found that males' number of cases was more than females. In contrast, death cases were significantly higher in males than females. It was not
... Show MoreNi2O3 nanomaterial, a phase of nickel oxide, is synthesized by a simple chemical process. The pure raw materials used in the present process were nickel chloride hexahydrate NiCl2.6H2O and potassium hydroxide KOH by utilizing temperature at 250 oC for 2 hour. The structural, morphological and optical properties of the synthesized specimens of Ni2O3 were investigated employing diverse techniques such as XRD, AFM, SEM and UV-Vis, respectively. The XRD technique confirms the presence of Ni2O3 nanomaterial with crystal size of 57.083 nm which indexing to the (2θ) of 31.82; this results revealed the Ni2O3 was a ph
... Show MoreIn this study, an efficient novel technique is presented to obtain a more accurate analytical solution to nonlinear pantograph differential equations. This technique combines the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) with the homotopy analysis method concepts (HAM). The whole integral part of HAM is used instead of an integral part of ADM approach to get higher accurate results. The main advantage of this technique is that it gives a large and more extended convergent region of iterative approximate solutions for long time intervals that rapidly converge to the exact solution. Another advantage is capable of providing a continuous representation of the approximate solutions, which gives better information over whole time interv
... Show MoreFrequent data in weather records is essential for forecasting, numerical model development, and research, but data recording interruptions may occur for various reasons. So, this study aims to find a way to treat these missing data and know their accuracy by comparing them with the original data values. The mean method was used to treat daily and monthly missing temperature data. The results show that treating the monthly temperature data for the stations (Baghdad, Hilla, Basra, Nasiriya, and Samawa) in Iraq for all periods (1980-2020), the percentage for matching between the original and the treating values did not exceed (80%). So, the period was divided into four periods. It was noted that most of the congruence values increased, re
... Show MoreThe study investigated the behaviour of asphalt concrete mixes for aggregate gradations, according to the Iraqi specification using the Bailey method designed by an Excel spreadsheet. In mixing aggregates with varying gradations (coarse and fine aggregate), The Bailey method is a systematic methodology that offers aggregate interlocking as the backbone of the framework and a controlled gradation to complete the blends. Six types of gradation are used according to the bailey method considered in this study. Two-course prepared Asphalt Concrete Wearing and Asphalt Concrete binder, the Nominal Maximum Aggregate Sizes (NMAS) of the mixtures are 19 and 12.5 mm, respectively. The total number of specimens was 240 for both layers (15 samp
... Show MoreA newly developed analytical method characterized by its speed and sensitivity for the determination of metformin-HCl via the formation of complex for metformin-HCl-OH--copper(II) ion from the gel bead system by continuous flow injection analysis. The method is based on the imbedded copper(II) ion in the gel bead structure can be used in the reaction for the formation of red –magneta colour complex(λmax. =530nm) formed by direct reaction of the drug with the released copper (II) ion from the gel bead in alkaline medium. Linear dynamic range for the absorbance versus metformin concentration was 0.001-1 mmol.L-1 while C.O.D was (r2% =95.33%) . The L.O.Q was 0.868mmol.L-1.L.O.D (S/N=3)=0.5μmol.L-1 from the step wise dilution for the min
... Show MoreThe aim of this paper is to analyzed unsteady heat transfer for magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of a second grade fluid in a channel with porous medium. The equations which was used to describe the flow are the momentum and energy, these equations were written to get thier non dimentional form. Homotopy analysis method (HAM) is employed to obtain a semi-analytical solutions for velocity and heat transfer fields. The effect of each dimensionless parameter upon the velocity and temperature distributions is analyzed and shown graphically by using MATHEMATICA package.
We have studied Bayesian method in this paper by using the modified exponential growth model, where this model is more using to represent the growth phenomena. We focus on three of prior functions (Informative, Natural Conjugate, and the function that depends on previous experiments) to use it in the Bayesian method. Where almost of observations for the growth phenomena are depended on one another, which in turn leads to a correlation between those observations, which calls to treat such this problem, called Autocorrelation, and to verified this has been used Bayesian method.
The goal of this study is to knowledge the effect of Autocorrelation on the estimation by using Bayesian method. F
... Show MoreFilms of PMMA and copper sulphate doped PMMA have been prepared by casting method. Absorbance and transmittance spectra were recorded in the wavelength range (300-900) nm in order to calculate, single oscillator energy, dispersion energy, average oscillator strength, the refractive index at infinite wavelength, M-1 and M -3 moments of the optical spectra, it was found that all these parameters were effected by doping.
Feature extraction provide a quick process for extracting object from remote sensing data (images) saving time to urban planner or GIS user from digitizing hundreds of time by hand. In the present work manual, rule based, and classification methods have been applied. And using an object- based approach to classify imagery. From the result, we obtained that each method is suitable for extraction depending on the properties of the object, for example, manual method is convenient for object, which is clear, and have sufficient area, also choosing scale and merge level have significant effect on the classification process and the accuracy of object extraction. Also from the results the rule-based method is more suitable method for extracting
