The controversy of aesthetic interpretation between the sculptures and their titles Contemporary Iraqi Sculpture "Experiments in Contemporary Iraqi Sculpture Exhibition as a Model"
...Show More Authors

The research tagged with the controversy of aesthetic interpretation between the sculptures and their titles in contemporary Iraqi sculpture, “Exhibition of Experiments in Contemporary Iraqi Sculpture as a Model”, and it is one of the new research that contributes to strengthening the critical path in the Iraqi fine movement, as the first chapter dealt with the research problem stemming from the question: What is the impact of the aesthetic hermeneutic controversy between the title and the title in contemporary Iraqi sculpture?, and do the titles of the sculptural works help to understand or enhance their contents?, The research objective included: To identify the controversy of the aesthetic interpretation of sculptures and their ti

field of modern and contemporary Yemeni history, accomplished at Ibn Rushd College of Education, University of Baghdad. It was determined according to a time frame in the years 1989, which is the date of completion of the first master’s thesis in the field of modern and contemporary Yemeni history, which deals with the subject of “Iraqi-Yemeni relations 1932- 1962”, and the year 2020, which is the year of completion of a master’s thesis on the position of Iraqi public opinion on the Egyptian military intervention in Yemen (1962-1970). The study determined the nature of these studies, whether they were in the form of master’s theses or doctoral dissertations, or research and studies published in issues of the refereed scien

The use of remote sensing technology in defining the water depth in the lakes and water bodies: Western Iraq as a case study
...Show More Authors

The study's primary purpose is to explore an appropriate way of monitoring and assessing water depths using the satellite remote sensing technique of the Al Habbaniyah Lake in Iraq. This research studied the experience-conditions (thresholds) of different bands for multi-temporal satellite image data with different satellite image sensors (Landsat 5-TM, and EO1-ALI) for the same region, to recognize regions of water depths. The threshold values are taken that to separate the Al Habbaniyah Lake to the required depths (shallow, deep, and very deep), as a supervised method. A three-dimension feature space plot had used to represent these regions. The relationship of the mean values of the three separated water regions with all TM and A

EFFECT OF EUCALYPTUS AND MYRTUS EXTRACTS IDENTIFICATION BY GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY-MASS SPECTROMETRY ON SOME SPECIES OF CANDIDA AS A MODEL OF MEDICAL PLANTS
...Show More Authors

The study showed that all extracts (aqueous, ethanolic and acetonic) of the leaves of Eucalyptus and Myrtus plants had a inhibitory effect on the growth of all types of yeasts studied, acetone extract recorded the highest inhibition of yeastat 100ppm concentration,The inhibition was 35mm, 34mm, 24mm and 20mm for Candida parapsilosis, Candida glabrata, Candida tropicalis and Candida albicans respectively, The experiments above showed the least significant differences at 0.05 level. The results ofE. Cammldulensis ethanolic tincture analysis has shown the presence of 44 biologically active substances. The main Eucalyptus leaves component was: 2-Bicyclo (2-2.1) heptanol (12.37%), Ledol (8.23%),1,2,4- Benzenetriol (8.45%) and that contain spathul

The key role of RANKL and OPG as molecular biomarkers in bone remodeling associated with different grafts regarding socket preservation: A systematic review
...Show More Authors

Objectives: Bone remodeling usually depends on complex molecular signaling, where receptor activator of NF-B ligand (RANKL) and osteoprotegerin (OPG) serve as key modulators that regulate osteoclastogenesis and overall bone metabolism process. This systematic review aimed to evaluate the influence of different graft materials on RANKL and OPG expression following alveolar ridge preservation. Methods: An electronic search of the literature was performed in Embase via Ovid, Medline via Ovid, CINAHL, Scopus and Web of Science databases, in addition to a manual search regarding all related articles. PRISMA guidelines and PICO framework were followed in this systematic review. The inclusion criteria were limited to English-published studies

Immunohistochemical expression of P53, as a marker of apoptosis in Hodgkin’s and Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma of the head and neck region
...Show More Authors

Background: Malignant lymphomas represent about 5% of all malignancy of the head and neck region which can involve lymph nodes as well as soft tissue and bone of the maxillofacial region. Apoptosis is considered a vital component of various processes including normal cell turnover, proper development and functioning of the immune system. Inappropriate apoptosis is a factor in many human conditions including neurodegenerative diseases, ischemic damage, autoimmune disorders and many types of cancer. Expression of p53 Proteins in Hodgkin׳s and Non Hodgkin׳s lymphomas suggested that it can help in monitoring of patients and the markers may aid in controlling the progression of lymphoma and detect the degree of aggressiveness of the diseas

Correlation of Concentrations of Certain Trace Elements in Normal and Diseased Human Tissues
...Show More Authors

Background Over the past decade there has been a growing awareness of, and interest in, the trace element concentration differences between normal and diseased tissues. Significant changes in tissue concentrations of Zinc (Zn) and Copper (Cu) have been previously reported in inflammation and cancer of certain human tissues.
Aim:(1)To correlate between Zn and Cu concentrations and the histological picture of normal and certain inflamed human tissues, namely the gall bladder (GB) the vermiform appendix (VA), visceral adipose tissue (VAT) and subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT). (2) to detect whether there is a difference in the above-mentioned parameters between VAT and SAT. (3) to obtain recordings for trace element levels in human tissu

Concrete strength development by using magnetized water in normal and self-compacted concrete
...Show More Authors
Abstract
The main objective of this work was to adopt an environmentally friendly technology with enhanced results. The technology of magnetic water (MW) treatment system can be used in concrete mixture production instead of potable water (PW) to improve both workability and strength. Two types of concrete were adopted: normal concreter production with two grades 25 and 35 MPa and the self-compacted concrete (SCC) with 35 MPa grade. The concrete mixes containing MW instead of PW results showed that, for 25 MPa grade, an improvement in a compressive strength of 15.1, 14.8, and 10.2% was achieved for 7, 28, and 90 days, respectively. For 35 MPa grade, an improvement of 13.6, 11.5, and
... Show More
