Cell-free DNA as a Clinical Indicator in Maternal Blood

As many expensive and invasive procedures are used for the diagnosis or follow-up of clinical conditions, the measurement of cell-free DNA is a promising, noninvasive method, which considers using blood, follicular fluid, or seminal fluid. This method is used to determine chromosomal abnormalities, genetic disorders, and indicators of some diseases such as polycystic ovary syndrome, pre-eclampsia, and some malignancies. Cell-free DNA, which are DNA fragments outside the nucleus, originates from an apoptotic process. However, to be used as a marker for the previously mentioned diseases is still under investigation. We discuss some aspects of using cell-free DNA measurements as an indicator or marker for pathological conditions.

Histological structure of the Tongue in Mongoose (Herpestes javanicus)

The aim of the present study was to investigate the histological structure of the tongue in Mongoose (Herpestes javanicus) and its related to the feeding pattern. Five adult animals were used in this study . The tongues were dissected and fixed in 10% formalin, then prepared by following stages (dehydration, clearing, and embedding). The serial section(5µ) were stained with(H&E) and some special stains. The histological examination showed that the tongue consists of three tunicae (mucosa, submucosa and musclaris) and the lining epithelium of the filiform papillae is composed of keratinized stratified squamous epithelial tissue. The cylindrical papillae are covered with a highly keratinized stratified squamous epithelial tissue, whereas the k

Complete (k,r)-Caps From Orbits In PG(3,11)

The purpose of this article is to partition PG(3,11) into orbits. These orbits are studied from the view of caps using the subgroups of PGL(4,11) which are determined by nontrivial positive divisors of the order of PG(3,11). The τ_i-distribution and c_i-distribution are also founded for each cap.

Undermining the Familiar and Embodiment Content in Arabic Calligraphy

Contrary to deconstruction and its destructive pursuit, the concept of undermining the familiar seeks to refute the constants and its known limitations. It is done through the process of receiving and what is imposed by the formation of the word or text or the structural and design structure in general, along with the Arabic calligraphy in particular. This is based on the recipient's understanding and interpretation of the dual phenomenon and the content's manifestation. More accurately, the disclosure of its reality through its expressive phenomenology; for that sake, the research was devoted to studying “undermining the familiar and embodiment content in Arabic calligraphy” including four chapters. The first chapter comprised

Gogny interaction and nuclear charge distribution in 48Ca Nucleus

Charge multipole Coulomb scattering form factors in 48Ca nucleus have been reproduced utilizing the theory of nuclear shell. The efficient two-body nuclear potential fpbm is considered to construct the-spin orbit term LS vectors with Harmonic Oscillator HO potential as a wave function of single particle in Fp shell. Discarded spaces ( core + higher configuration) are taken into account through the Core polarization effect by model space with accurate two-body potential of Gogny to  interact the LS operating particles with the discarded space pair ( particle-hole) with energy of excitation equal to 2ћω. Gogny interaction has been selected as it had succeeded in nuclear shell theory. The computed results were compared with th

Geochemistry of Sabkhas in Abu Ghraib, Western Baghdad, Iraq

The study aims to detail the chemistry of Sabkha located in Abu-Graib, western Baghdad to know the content of the rare elements distributed. Sabkhas are found in dry areas with significant evaporation rates. The quantity of dissolved salts rises as water evaporates from the shallow basins, eventually causing salt to crystallize. The creation of the distinctive salt pans and crusts on the top is greatly influenced by this process. The trace elements (Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, As, Se, Rb, Sr, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Sn, Ba, Ta, Tl, Pb, Th, U, I, and Br) beside the major oxides were analyzed using XRF technique. There are no clear significant differences in the distribution of the elements between the two Sabkhas in the village of Kadim Al
