Job pressures affecting the quality of teachers’ performance at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences/University of Baghdad
...Show More Authors

The research aimed to prepare a measure of job stressors affecting the quality of teaching performance in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, to identify their levels, if any, and the most influential dimensions on the quality of teaching performance within the college’s work environment, as well as the deanship’s ability to help prevent and Alleviating its severity through logical administrative methods, on a scale that includes four dimensions that include (the administrative and financial environment, the organizational environment, the social and humanitarian environment, and the scientific and research environment). The descriptive approach was adopted using the case study method for a sample of (166) teachers from the original community of (182) teachers, with a percentage of (91.209%). The research results were processed using the statistical package system (SPSS), version (V28), (statistical package for social sciences). The results showed that teachers were exposed to pressures from the social and humanitarian environment in the first place, followed by pressures from the scientific and research environment, then the organizational environment, and pressures from the administrative and financial environment, respectively, at varying levels. Which enabled us to conclude that there is ambiguity in tasks, roles, and overlapping work, in addition to the need to assign higher administrative levels and their moral and material support, and the college deanship can help in ensuring prevention and alleviating the severity of the pressures that teachers are exposed to in the dimensions and All functional environment.     The most important recommendations that came out of the study emphasize giving priority and attention to teachers as a supreme value in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in addition to consolidating human relations and social connections and solving problems between colleagues in general, and teachers and students in particular, and ensuring the requirements for the success of quality Moral and material performance for teachers, in addition to all entitlements.

Impact of empowerment and functional flexibility in evaluating worker performance :an empirical study
...Show More Authors

This study was conducted in the Department of Employment and Loans at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to indicate the importance and impact of both the empowerment and the functional flexibility in evaluating the performance of the employees. To achieve the objectives of the study, the data was collected through a questionnaire form designed for this purpose based on previous studies. Data obtained for a significant evaluation of the relationship between the components of both the empowerment and the functional flexibility with the components of the evaluation and determining the degree of importance of each component of both the empowerment and functional flexibility for the components of the evaluation by the extractio

Construction and performance study of a solar - powered hybrid cooling system in Iraq
...Show More Authors

The systems cooling hybrid solar uses solar collector to convert solar energy into the source of heat for roasting Refrigerant outside of the compressor and this process helps in the transformation of Refrigerant from the gas to a liquid state in two-thirds the top of the condenser instead of two-thirds the bottom of the condenser as in Conventional cooling systems and this in turn reduces the energy necessary to lead the process of cooling. The system cooling hybrid use with a capacity of 1 ton and Refrigerant type R22 and the value of current drawn by the system limits (3.9-4.2A), the same value of electric current calculated by the system are  Conventional  within this atmosphere of Iraq, and after taking different readings

Performance Study of AODV, GRP and OSPFv3 MANET Routing Protocols Using OPNET Modeler
...Show More Authors

A Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes, that forms on the fly a temporary wireless multi-hop network in a self-organizing way, without relying on any established infrastructure. In MANET, a pair of nodes exchange messages either over a direct wireless link, or over a sequence of wireless links including one or more intermediate nodes. For this purpose, an efficient routing protocol is required. This paper introduced performance study of three of MANET protocols (AODV, GRP and OSPFv3). This study was one of the newer studies because wireless communication played an important role in today’s application and the field of mobile ad hoc network becomes very popular for the researchers in the last years. This study w

Optical and Thermal Performance of a Parabolic Trough Collector for Different Receiver Geometries
...Show More Authors

This paper numerically and theoretically investigates the optical and thermal performance of a parabolic trough collector PTC system. Many numerical simulations and theoretical analyses are conducted to demonstrate the influence of the receiver geometry and shifting from the focal position on the optical performance. The examined receiver geometries are circular, square, triangular, elliptical, and the new circular–square combined geometry is named as channel receiver. The thermal performance of PTC is examined for different volume flow rates theoretically in the range of (0.36 to 2.4 lpm). The results show that the best optical design is the channel receiver with an intercept factor of 84%, while the worst is the elliptical receiver with

The trading banks in Iraq invest their funds according to regulations imposed by the Central Bank in Iraq in different financial fields like stock exchanges, acquire stocks as assets that could be sold at any time as well as make loans and contributing in corporations establishment also magnitude foreign capital through direct contacts with foreign exchange markets.

We can summarize the problem of this paper as shortage in mathematical models that used in studying and analyzing these investments and according to this problem we used (a constructed mathematical model ) consists of three major indicators: profitability of total investment assets which is divided into three sub-indicators: owners equity risk indicator, debits risk i

Introduction: The major drawback of Silver diamine ϔŽuor‹de was the dark discoloration of the treated carious lesion. Aim: This study was conducted to determine the parental acceptability and perceptions to the discoloration and assess whether the degree of their acceptability could be altered with the position of the discoloured teeth, child attitude and the demographic characteristics of parents. Method: The parents who attended the dental clinic received a questionnaire which formulated with short summery about silver diamine ϔŽuor‹de with photographs (before and after treatment) and containing questions about the demographical data, attitude of the child in the dental clinic and the acceptability of SDF discoloration at different

Numerical and Experimental Investigations of the Effect of PVD and Vacuum Pressure on the Degree of Saturation
...Show More Authors

Soft clays are generally characterized by low shear strength, low permeability and high compressibility. An effective method to accelerate consolidation of such soils is to use vertical drains along with vacuum preloading to encourage radial flow of water.  In this research numerical modeling of prefabricated vertical drains with vacuum pressure was done to investigate the effect of using vertical drains together with vacuum pressure on the degree of saturation of fully and saturated-unsaturated soft soils.  Laboratory experiments were conducted by using a specially-designed large consolidometer cell where a central drain was installed and vacuum pressure was applied. All tests were conducted
