Objective: To assess mothers' knowledge and practices concerning cholera and their relationship with some
sociodemographic characteristics of those mothers.
Methodology: A sample of (100) mother was selected through a convenience sample for the period of July First
through August 31 2007 '؛
. Data were collected through interview of mothers were visiting PHC centers by using
of constructed questionnaire developed by the researcher that contains (31) item. Reliability and Validity of the
tool were determined through pilot study. A descriptive and inferential statistical approaches were used for data
analysis.

Background: Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) is an autoimmune vesiculobullous mucocutaneous disease with life-threatening consequences. Rituximab (RTX) has recently emerged as an effective treatment for PV. Objectives: This study aims to determine changes in neutrophil and platelet counts for PV patients treated with RTX or corticosteroids combined with Imuran (azathioprine). Materials and Methods: The present cross-sectional study was conducted in the Department of Dermatology at Baghdad Teaching Hospital, Baghdad, Iraq. Crabs belong to the crustacean family (Decapods crustacean), and their shells contain natural ingredients from which the bioactive compounds are derived. It has been used as folklore medicine in cancer treatment. We investigate the possible anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects for crab shells and whole crabs. Thirty-six rats (150–200 gm) from both sexes were used, divided into six groups, the anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant activity measured using cotton pellet induce granuloma model. Detection of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF α), Interleukin 1 beta (IL-1β), superoxide (SOD), and malondialdehyde (MDA) levels using ELISA Kits.
