This work represents the set of measurements of radon and thoron concentrations levels of soil-gas in Al-Kufa city in Iraq using electric Radon meter (RAD-7). Radon and thoron concentration were measured in soil-gas in 20 location for three depth of (50, 100 and 150) cm.
The results show that the emanation rate of radon and thoron gas varied from location to anther, depending on the geological formation. The Radon concentration in soil has been found to vary from (12775±400) Bq/m3 at 150 cm depth in location (sample K2) to (41.45±17) Bq/m3, for depth 150 cm in location (sample K20). In this study, the ethanolic extracts of Moringa peregrinaseeds (MPSE) were evaluated for their antiparasitic, insecticidal, herbicidal, anti-leukemic, and anti-pancreatic lipase activities. The MPSE showed moderate antileishmanial activity against Leishmania major with an IC50 of 71.7±0.46 μg/mL, compared to 10±0.05 μg/mL and 4±0.05 μg/mL for pentamidine and amphotericin B, respectively. The extract demonstrated moderate insecticidal activity with 41% mortality in Rhyzopertha dominicaand 15.7% in Tribolium castaneum. In this paper, chip and powder copper are used as reinforcing phase in polyester matrix to form composites. Mechanical properties such as flexural strength and impact test of polymer reinforcement copper (powder and chip) were done, the maximum flexural strength for the polymer reinforcement with copper (powder and chip) are (85.13 Mpa) and (50.08 Mpa) respectively was obtained, while the maximum observation energy of the impact test for the polymer reinforcement with copper (powder and chip) are (0.85 J) and (0.4 J) respectively

There are several diverse methods, including chemical, physical, and green biological methods, to prepare iron oxide nanoparticles.
