To avoid these problems, we propose an improved certificate-based encryption scheme that ensures data confidentiality by combining symmetric and asymmetric cryptography schemes. The combination can be implemented by using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH).
