Cloud Computing is a mass platform to serve high volume data from multi-devices and numerous technologies. Cloud tenants have a high demand to access their data faster without any disruptions. Therefore, cloud providers are struggling to ensure every individual data is secured and always accessible. Hence, an appropriate replication strategy capable of selecting essential data is required in cloud replication environments as the solution. This paper proposed a Crucial File Selection Strategy (CFSS) to address poor response time in a cloud replication environment. A cloud simulator called CloudSim is used to conduct the necessary experiments, and results are presented to evidence the enhancement on replication performance. The obtained analytical graphs are discussed thoroughly, and apparently, the proposed CFSS algorithm outperformed another existing algorithm with a 10.47% improvement in average response time for multiple jobs per round.
The research aims to identify the reality of administrative motivation for the deans of the faculties of physical education and sports sciences at the universities of Baghdad and Al-Mustansiriya from the point of download of the faculty members. The number of the exploratory sample was (7) faculty members, they were taken in a random way, while the rest of the sample number was (150) faculty members who considered the application sample for the scale, and the two researchers also adopted a questionnaire for the scale and it is applied to the Iraqi environment. phrase, which are phrases that are interrelated with the administrative leadership motivation in the faculties of physical education and sports sciences. The researchers did not make

Show MoreRecently Tobit Quantile Regression(TQR) has emerged as an important tool in statistical analysis . in order to improve the parameter estimation in (TQR) we proposed Bayesian hierarchical model with double adaptive elastic net technique and Bayesian hierarchical model with adaptive ridge regression technique .
in double adaptive elastic net technique we assume different penalization parameters for penalization different regression coefficients in both parameters λ1and λ2 , also in adaptive ridge regression technique we assume different penalization parameters for penalization different regression coefficients i
... Show MoreMaximum power point tracking (MPPT) is used in photovoltaic (PV) systems to enhance efficiency and maximize the output power of PV module, regardless the variation of temperature, irradiation, and the electrical characteristics of the load. A new MPPT system has been presented in this research, consisting of a synchronous DC-DC step-down Buck converter controlled by an Arduino microcontroller based unit. The MPPT process with Perturb and Observe method is performed with a DC-DC converter circuit to overcome the problem of voltage mismatch between the PV modules and the loads. The proposing system has high efficiency, lower cost and can be easily modified to handle more energy sources. The test results indicate that the u

The proposed approach is a supervised learning model. A large set of complete data called learning data is used to find the decision rule sets that then have been used in solving the incomplete data problem. The intelligent swarm algorithm is used for feature selection which represents bees algorithm as heuristic search algorithm combined with rough set theory as evaluation function. Also another feature selection algorithm called ID3 is presented, it works as statistical algorithm instead of intelligent algorithm. A comparison between those two approaches is made in their performance for null values estima

Background: DVT is a very common problem with a very serious complications like pulmonary embolism (PE) which carries a high mortality, and many other chronic and annoying complications ( like chronic DVT, post-phlebitic syndrome, and chronic venous insufficiency) ,and it has many risk factors that affect its course, severity ,and response to treatment. Objectives: Most of those risk factors are modifiable, and a better understanding of the relationships between them can be beneficial for better assessment for liable pfatients , prevention of disease, and the effectiveness of our treatment modalities. Male to female ratio was nearly equal , so we didn’t discuss the gender among other risk factors. Type of the study:A cross- secti
The rise in the general level of prices in Iraq makes the local commodity less able to compete with other commodities, which leads to an increase in the amount of imports and a decrease in the amount of exports, since it raises demand for foreign currencies while decreasing demand for the local currency, which leads to a decrease in the exchange rate of the local currency in exchange for an increase in the exchange rate of currencies. This is one of the most important factors affecting the determination of the exchange rate and its fluctuations. This research deals with the currency of the European Euro and its impact against the Iraqi dinar. To make an accurate prediction for any process, modern methods can be used through which

Show MoreThis paper will juxtapose the effectiveness of conventional methods of graphical cartography and GIS-interpolation methods in presenting the population distribution of the Baghdad Governorate in 2023. The study touches upon the efficiency of two types of cartographic techniques to present demographic data and is concerned with the speed and clearness of the visual perception. The analysis involves the use of traditional techniques (square, triangle, column and divided circle) and the GIS techniques (Kernel Smoothing, Kriging and Inverse Distance weighting) to describe the male, female and aggregate population. Fifty respondents used their comprehension speed on the maps as the sample. The findings demonstrate that the traditional te

Show MoreThe present study aims to investigate the long-term histopathological, and physiological effects of different concentrations of a commercially available energy drink (Tiger) on liver and kidney of young mice. Sixteen Balb/c male mice,6 -week old, were divided into 4 groups (n=4). Two groups consumed the energy drink at a concentration of 28µl energy drink/ml water. One group were killed after 10 days (T1), another group were killed after 20 days (T2). Other group of mice consumed the energy drink at a final concentration of 14µl/ml for 20 days (T3). The last group was provided only with water and served as control. Mice of all groups drank around 3 ml per day. The histopathological study on liver of treated groups showed many changes s
... Show MoreHuman Resources Management Practices (HRMP) and managerial control represent two academic fields that have been and still are the focus of many studies. However, merging both fields and studying the relationship that connects them and also the role that HRMP play in achieving the requirements of managerial control represents a new and novel study according to the available literature in these fields.
To achieve these goals, this study has been conducted, using the surveying questionnaire method, on a sample of ten general inspector offices in Iraq that work in the field of control for ministries and independent committees. A questionnaire has been used to collect the data which was analyzed with several s
