Efficient Approach for Solving (2+1) D- Differential Equations
...Show More Authors

In this article, a new efficient approach is presented to solve a type of partial differential equations, such (2+1)-dimensional differential equations non-linear, and nonhomogeneous. The procedure of the new approach is suggested to solve important types of differential equations and get accurate analytic solutions i.e., exact solutions. The effectiveness of the suggested approach based on its properties compared with other approaches has been used to solve this type of differential equations such as the Adomain decomposition method, homotopy perturbation method, homotopy analysis method, and variation iteration method. The advantage of the present method has been illustrated by some examples.

Synthesis, Spectroscopic, and Biological Activity Study for New Complexes of Some Metal Ions with Schiff Bases Derived From 2-Hydroxy Naphthaldehyde with 2-amine benzhydrazide
...Show More Authors

This study describes the preparation of tetradentate Schiff base derived from the condensation of 2-Hydroxy naphthaldehyde with 2-amine benzhydrazide and the synthesis of new complexes series with a good yield. The prepared ligand was characterized using a microanalysis technique, UV-visible, FT-IR, nuclear magnetic resonance 1H-NMR, mass spectrometry, thermal gravimetric analysis TGA, and the addition of conductivity measurement and magnetic moment of complexes. The invitro antimicrobial activity of the prepared compounds was tested against  Gram-negative Klebsiella pneumonia, Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureu, and Candida albicans by the agar well diffusion method. The spectroscopy and measurement studies showed that the li

Heuristic D* Algorithm Based on Particle Swarm Optimization for Path Planning of Two-Link Robot Arm in Dynamic Environment
...Show More Authors

Finding a path solution in a dynamic environment represents a challenge for the robotics researchers, furthermore, it is the main issue for autonomous robots and manipulators since nowadays the world is looking forward to this challenge. The collision free path for robot in an environment with moving obstacles such as different objects, humans, animals or other robots is considered as an actual problem that needs to be solved.  In addition, the local minima and sharp edges are the most common problems in all path planning algorithms. The main objective of this work is to overcome these problems by demonstrating the robot path planning and obstacle avoidance using D star (D*) algorithm based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO)

Numerical Solutions of Fractional Integral and Fractional Integrodifferential Equations
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we introduce and discuss an algorithm for the numerical solution of some kinds of fractional integral and fractional integrodifferential equations. The algorithm for the numerical solution of these equations is based on iterative approach. The stability and convergence of the fractional order numerical method are described. Finally, some numerical examples are provided to show that the numerical method for solving the fractional integral and fractional integrodifferential equations is an effective solution method.

Solution of Second Kind Volterra Integral Equations Using Non-Polynomial Spline Functions
...Show More Authors

In this paper we use non-polynomial spline functions to develop numerical methods to approximate the solution of 2nd kind Volterra integral equations. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the applications of these method, and to compare the computed results with other known methods.

A Mathematical Approach for Computing the Linear Equivalence of a Periodic Key-Stream Sequence Using Fourier Transform
...Show More Authors

A mathematical method with a new algorithm with the aid of Matlab language is proposed to compute the linear equivalence (or the recursion length) of the pseudo-random key-stream periodic sequences using Fourier transform. The proposed method enables the computation of the linear equivalence to determine the degree of the complexity of any binary or real periodic sequences produced from linear or nonlinear key-stream generators. The procedure can be used with comparatively greater computational ease and efficiency. The results of this algorithm are compared with Berlekamp-Massey (BM) method and good results are obtained where the results of the Fourier transform are more accurate than those of (BM) method for computing the linear equivalenc

Robust Approach of Optimal Control for DC Motor in Robotic Arm System using Matlab Environment
...Show More Authors

Modern automation robotics have replaced many human workers in industrial factories around the globe. The robotic arms are used for several manufacturing applications, and their responses required optimal control. In this paper, a robust approach of optimal position control for a DC motor in the robotic arm system is proposed. The general component of the automation system is first introduced. The mathematical model and the corresponding transfer functions of a DC motor in the robotic arm system are presented.  The investigations of using DC motor in the robotic arm system without controller lead to poor system performance. Therefore, the analysis and design of a Proportional plus Integration plus Divertive (PID) controller is illustrated.

A Novel DNA Sequence Approach for Network Intrusion Detection System Based on Cryptography Encoding Method
...Show More Authors

A novel method for Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) has been proposed, based on the concept of how DNA sequence detects disease as both domains have similar conceptual method of detection. Three important steps have been proposed to apply DNA sequence for NIDS: convert the network traffic data into a form of DNA sequence using Cryptography encoding method; discover patterns of Short Tandem Repeats (STR) sequence for each network traffic attack using Teiresias algorithm; and conduct classification process depends upon STR sequence based on Horspool algorithm. 10% KDD Cup 1999 data set is used for training phase. Correct KDD Cup 1999 data set is used for testing phase to evaluate the proposed method. The current experiment results sh

GIS Approach for Spatial Distribution Analysis of Groundwater Quality at South-West Part of Basrah
...Show More Authors

Water is necessary for sustainable development and healthy society.  Groundwater, often, is not sufficient and protected for direct human consumption. Due to increase in the density of population the requirement of water is increasing.  In this work, the assessment of groundwater quality was conducted in the south-west part of Basrah province. Spatial variations in the quality of groundwater in the study area have been analyzed utilizing GIS technique. The geochemical parameters of groundwater samples including pH, EC, TDS, Ca, Mg, Na, Cl, HCO3, SO4, and NO3 were assessed in this study. Information maps of the study area have been actually prepared to make use of the GIS spatial

A novel fusion-based approach for the classification of packets in wireless body area networks
...Show More Authors

This abstract focuses on the significance of wireless body area networks (WBANs) as a cutting-edge and self-governing technology, which has garnered substantial attention from researchers. The central challenge faced by WBANs revolves around upholding quality of service (QoS) within rapidly evolving sectors like healthcare. The intricate task of managing diverse traffic types with limited resources further compounds this challenge. Particularly in medical WBANs, the prioritization of vital data is crucial to ensure prompt delivery of critical information. Given the stringent requirements of these systems, any data loss or delays are untenable, necessitating the implementation of intelligent algorithms. These algorithms play a pivota
