Zinc Oxide nanoparticles were prepared using pulsed laser ablation process from a pure zinc metal placed inside a liquid environment. The latter is composed of acetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) of 10−3 molarity and distilled water. A Ti:Sapphire laser of 800 nm wavelength, 1 kHz pulse repetition rate, 130 fs pulse duration is used at three values of pulse energies of 0.05 mJ, 1.11 mJ and 1.15 mJ. The present study was conducted in the Tigris River within Baghdad (University of Baghdad campus). The study included some physicochemical parameters and qualitative of epiphytic algae on the host plant (Ceratophyllum demersum) during summer season 2013. The results revealed that the study area was alkaline, hard and oxygenated water. A total of 105 taxa of epiphytic algae was identified. Bacillariophyceae diatoms composed 44.7% of the total and were represented by 42.4% of the order Pennales and 1.9 %of the order Centrales. In the present work we prepared heterojunction not homogenous CdS/:In/Cu2S) by spray and displacement methods on glass substrate , CdS:In films prepared by different impurities constration. Cu2S prepared by chemical displacement method to improve the junction properties , structural and optical properties of the deposited films was achieved . The study shows that the film polycrystalline by XRD result for all film and the energy gap was direct to 2.38 eV with no effect on this value by impurities at this constration .
