This study was conducted to know the effect of some phenotype characteristics of corn plant on infection by (CSB), using 13 genotypes of corn plant, planting during autumn season 1997 and 1998. The result revealed that the mean of plant height (with male flowering) was (183-219) cm, the mean of leaf No./ plant in all genotypes was (16-18) leaf but the leaf area of plant was (4350-6249) cm2, there were significant differences of phenotype characteristics between genotypes ,the percentage of infection by (CSB) was (5.9-35.9),% the result showed that the phenotype characteristics had non effect on the infection percentage by (CSB) and the correlation coefficient was not significant.
In this paper we use Bernstein polynomials for deriving the modified Simpson's 3/8 , and the composite modified Simpson's 3/8 to solve one dimensional linear Volterra integral equations of the second kind , and we find that the solution computed by this procedure is very close to exact solution.
In the present work the Buildup factor for gamma rays were studied in shields from epoxy reinforced by lead powder and by aluminum powder, for NaI(Tl) scintillation detector size ( ×? ), using two radioactive sources (Co-60 and Cs-137). The shields which are used (epoxy reinforced by lead powder with concentration (10-60)% and epoxy reinforced by aluminum powder with concentration (10-50)% by thick (6mm) and epoxy reinforced by lead powder with concentration (50%) with thick (2,4,6,8,10)mm. The experimental results show that: The linear absorption factor and Buildup factor increase with increase the concentration for the powders which used in reinforcement and high for aluminum powder than the lead powder and decrease with inc

... Show MoreFive new lanthanide complexes based on azomethine (Schiff bases) ligands have been synthesized, including La, Nd, Er, Gd, and Dy. Complexes were synthesized using the azomethine Schiff bases resulting from condensation reactions between 4-aminoantipyrine and acetonylacetone. The structural characteristics of azomethine obtained are characterized quantitatively and qualitatively through various techniques, including elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility measurement, molar conductivity, infrared, ultraviolet absorption, GC-mass, and 1H- and 13C-NMR spectroscopy studies. The structural characteristics of Ln+3 complexes indicate that the complexes possess a composition of a specific type. Based on the elemental analyses, magnetic

Bacterial toxins are considered to be virulence factors due to the fact that they interfere with the normal processes of the host cell in which they are found. The interplay between the infectious processes of bacteria and the immune system is what causes this impact. In this discussion, we are going to focus on bacterial toxins that act in the extracellular environment, especially on those that impair the activity of macrophages and neutrophils. These toxins are of particular interest since they may be found in a wide variety of bacteria. We will be concentrating our efforts, in particular, on the toxins that are generated by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. These toxins are able to interact with and have an effect on the many dif

Also, we used an alternating game in which the response of the second player depends on the choice of the first one. Many results of winning and losing strategies have been studied, consistent with the nature of the topological groups. As well as, we presented some topological groups, which fail to have winning strategies and we give some illustrated examples. Finally, the effect of functions on the aforementioned compactness strategies was studied.
The problem of the research lies in choosing agility tests suitable to the test taker to observe the relative changes in some players. In addition to that, there are a lot of agility tests that lack special test models that coordinate gender and age. This means the youth basketball player on one hand and time and distance in applying the tests on the other. The importance of the research lies in designing agility tests for youth basketball players to achieve variations in tests a matter that will benefit coaches in their training. The subjects of the research were (30) youth basketball players from the specialized school of the National Center that sponsor gifted basketball players in Baghdad for the season 2014 – 2015. The data was colle
... Show MoreLet R be a commutative ring with identity 1 and M be a unitary left R-module. A submodule N of an R-module M is said to be pure relative to submodule T of M (Simply T-pure) if for each ideal A of R, N?AM=AN+T?(N?AM). In this paper, the properties of the following concepts were studied: Pure essential submodules relative to submodule T of M (Simply T-pure essential),Pure closed submodules relative to submodule T of M (Simply T-pure closed) and relative pure complement submodule relative to submodule T of M (Simply T-pure complement) and T-purely extending. We prove that; Let M be a T-purely extending module and let N be a T-pure submodule of M. If M has the T-PIP, then N is T-purely extending.
