The present study was done to prepare a gastroretentive floating tablet of captopril (CAP) which is an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACE-inhibitor) used in the treatment of hypertension and heart failure. A simple analytical method was used in the present work for the simultaneous quantification of Ciprofloxacin and Isoniazid in pharmaceutical preparations. UV-Visible spectrophotometry has been applied to quantify these compounds in pure and mixture solutions using the first-order derivative method. The method depends on the first derivative spectrophotometry using zero-cross, peak to baseline, peak to peak and peak area measurements. The nonhomogeneous higher order linear complex differential equation (HOLCDE) with meromorphic (or entire) functions is considered in this paper. The results are obtained by putting some conditions on the coefficients to prove that the hyper order of any nonzero solution of this equation equals the order of one of its coefficients in case the coefficients are meromorphic functions.
