Studying the Flux Density of Bright Active Galaxies at Different Spectral Bands
...Show More Authors

Statistical studies are reported in this article for an active galactic nuclei sample of different type of active galaxies Seyferts 1, Seyferts 2, and Quasars. These sources have been selected from a Catalogue for bright X-ray galaxies. The name of this index is ROSAT Bright Source Catalogue (RBSC) and the NRAO VLA Sky Survey (NVSS). In this research, multi-wavelength observational bands Radio at 1.4 GHz, Optical at 4400 A0, and X-ray at energy 0.1-2.4 KeV have been adopted in this study. The behavior of flux density ratios has been studied ,  with respect to the absolute magnitude . Furthermore, the Seyfert1 and Seyfert 2 objects are combined in one group and the QSOs are collectest in another group. Also, it has been found that the ratios , are increasing towards fainter optical absolute magnitude especially in Quasars.

Extraction of Phenol From Industrial Water Using Different Solvents
...Show More Authors

The analysis and efficiency of phenol extraction from the industrial water using different solvents, were investigated. To our knowledge, the experimental information available in the literature for liquid-liquid equilibria of ternary mixtures containing the pair phenol-water is limited. Therefore the purpose of the present investigation is to generate the data for the water-phenol with different solvents to aid the correlation of liquid-liquid equilibria, including phase diagrams, distribution coefficients of phenol, tie-lines data and selectivity of the solvents for the aqueous phenol system.

The ternary equilibrium diagrams and tie-lines

Phylogenetic Analysis of Streptomyces spp. Exhibited Different Antimicrobial Activities
...Show More Authors

Fourteen isolates were collected from a previous study and all were assigned to be Streptomyces genus, according to physiological and biochemical tests, however all the isolates varied morphologically and exhibited different antimicrobial activity.  All 14 isolates were confirmed Streptomyces by  16S rRNA PCR amplification. Six isolates with high antimicrobial activities were ascertained   Streptomyces spp. by sequencing and phylogenetic analysis. Two isolates among the selected 6 isolates with antimicrobial activity against  E. coli and S. aureus . It recommended to make a complete sequence for 16S  rRNA to detect the  species that

Effects of Covid-19 vaccination on different semen parameters
...Show More Authors
Abstract
<title>Background

The possible effects of COVID-19 vaccines on reproductive health and male fertility in particular have been discussed intensely by the scientific community and the public since their introduction during the pandemic. On news outlets and social media platforms, many claims have been raised regarding the deleterious effects of COVID-19 vaccines on sperm quality without scientific evidence. In response to this emerging conflict, we designed this study to evaluate and assess the effect of the Pfizer-BioNTech mRNA COVID-19 vaccine on male fertility represented by the semen analysis parameters.

Performance of Different Concatenated Coding Schemes for CDMA System
...Show More Authors

In this paper different channel coding and interleaving schemes in DS/CDMA system over multipath fading channel were used. Two types of serially concatenated coding were presented. The first one composed of Reed-Solomon as outer code, convolutional code as inner code and the interleaver between the outer and inner codes and the second consist of convolutional code as outer code, interleaved in the middle and differential code as an inner code. Bit error rate performance of different schemes in multipath fading channel was analyzed and compared. Rack receiver was used in DS/CDMA receiver to combine multipath components in order to enhance the signal to noise ratio at the receiver.

Genotyping of Klebsiella spp. isolated from different clinical sources
...Show More Authors

A total of 172 clinical were obtained over 6 months. Klebsiella spp. was detected in 58 (33.7%) samples with a high percentage 29 (50%) in urine in female and low percentage 1(1.7%) in pus and burn swabs in male, and the vaginal swab was 1(1.7%). The female to male ratio was 3.1:1. PCR detection showed that 51(87.93%) out of 58 produce 108 bp. product with rpoB specific primer that represented K. pneumonia. Whereas 7(12.07%) showed PCR product with 343 bp by K. oxytoca specific primer (peh X), furthermore, the sequences of two selected isolates showed that the species related to K. oxytoca strain CAV1335, and to K. oxytoca strain CAV1374. Five selected isolates were re-tested by the gyr A primer, all were showed specific band product wit

Evaluation the therapeutic efficacy of different concentration of amphotericin B drug in mice infected with visceral leishmaniosis
...Show More Authors

Liposomal amphotericin B (Amph B) has been used effectively to treat leishmaniosis, in spite of its high toxicity appeared in some patients. In our study, Amph B was administered in Leishmania donovani that infected BALB/c male mice using different concentrations to evaluate its efficacy challenge against infection as well as its effect in modulating immunity of the host. We observed that low doses with short duration of Amph B as a therapy regime significantly enhanced the induction of Th1 cytokine (INF-γ), but suppressed Th2 cytokine (IL-10) production. Groups of mice infected with L. donovani and treated with Amph B showed clearly increasing in INF-γ level and reduction in IL-10 level in concentration (3, 4, 5 mg/ml/kg) with best resul

The Effects of Different Investment Materials on Dimensional Accuracy and Surface Roughness of Thermosens Maxillary Complete Dentures
...Show More Authors

Background: Limited data are available on the dimensional stability and surface roughness of ThermoSens, which is a material used in denture processing. This study aimed to measure the vertical teeth changes and surface roughness of ThermoSens dentures prepared using three different investment materials. Materials and methods: For the dimensional changes test, 30 complete maxillary dentures were prepared using different investment methods: group I, dental stone; group II, silicone putty; and group III, a mixture of dental stone and plaster (ratio, 1:1; n = 10 for each group). Four screws were attached to the dentures: two were attached to the buccal surface of the canine and first molar, and the other two were attached in the flange areas o

Evaluation the efficiency of different techniques for extraction and purification of Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV)
...Show More Authors

This study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of different techniques for extraction and purification of Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV). An isolate of the virus free of possible contamination with other viruses infecting the same host and transmitted by the same vector Bemisia tabaci Genn. was obtained. This was realized by indicator plants and incubation period in the vector. Results obtained revealed that the virus infect Nicotiana glutinosa without visible symptoms, while Nicotiana tabaccum var. White Burley was not susceptible to the virus. The incubation period of the virus in the vector was found to be 21 hrs. These results indicate that the virus is TYLCV. Results showed that Butanol was more effective in clarification the

Effect Different Concentrations of Crude Oil on the Pigment Content and Protein Content of Hydrilla Verticillata Plant
...Show More Authors

The current study was conducted to determine the effect of crude oil on the pigments and protein content of Hydrilla verticillata plant from December 2018 to February 2019. Hydrilla verticillata was exposed to different concentrations of treatments (0.01,0.05,0.10,0.20) % of crude oil for 24 days. The pigments content was evaluated as total chlorophyll, a, b, carotene and protein content within plant tissues during the days (1, 8, 16 and 24).

The results of this study showed an increment in the total chlorophyll values of plant, which is exposed to different concentrations of crude oil compared to the control treatment during the first day of the experiment and decreased compared to cont
