Solving Optimal Control Linear Systems by Using New Third kind Chebyshev Wavelets Operational Matrix of Derivative
...Show More Authors

In this paper, a new third kind Chebyshev wavelets operational matrix of derivative is presented, then the operational matrix of derivative is applied for solving optimal control problems using, third kind Chebyshev wavelets expansions. The proposed method consists of reducing the linear system of optimal control problem into a system of algebraic equations, by expanding the state variables, as a series in terms of third kind Chebyshev wavelets with unknown coefficients. Example to illustrate the effectiveness of the method has been presented.

Three Weighted Residuals Methods for Solving the Nonlinear Thin Film Flow Problem
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>In this paper, the methods of weighted residuals: Collocation Method (CM), Least Squares Method (LSM) and Galerkin Method (GM) are used to solve the thin film flow (TFF) equation. The weighted residual methods were implemented to get an approximate solution to the TFF equation. The accuracy of the obtained results is checked by calculating the maximum error remainder functions (MER). Moreover, the outcomes were examined in comparison with the 4th-order Runge-Kutta method (RK4) and good agreements have been achieved. All the evaluations have been successfully implemented by using the computer system Mathematica®10.</p>

Efficient computational methods for solving the nonlinear initial and boundary value problems

In this paper, three approximate methods namely the Bernoulli, the Bernstein, and the shifted Legendre polynomials operational matrices are presented to solve two important nonlinear ordinary differential equations that appeared in engineering and applied science. The Riccati and the Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer moment equations are solved and the approximate solutions are obtained. The methods are summarized by converting the nonlinear differential equations into a nonlinear system of algebraic equations that is solved using Mathematica®12. The efficiency of these methods was investigated by calculating the root mean square error (RMS) and the maximum error remainder (𝑀𝐸𝑅n) and it was found that the accuracy increases with increasi

A Fuzzy Dynamic Programming for the Optimal Allocation of Health Centers in some Villages around Baghdad
...Show More Authors

The Planning and Resource Development Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Health is very interested in improving medical care, health education, and village training programs. Accordingly, and through the available capabilities of the ministry, itdesires to allocate seven health centers to four villages in Baghdad, Iraq therefore the ministry needs to determine the number of health centers allocated to each of these villages which achieves the greatest degree of the overall effectiveness of the seven health centers in a fuzzy environment. The objective of this study is to use a fuzzy dynamic programming(DP) method to determine the optimal allocation of these centers, which allows the greatest overall effectiveness of these health centers

Expansion the engineering consultancy offices in the universities of Iraq, about (14) offices, leading to increas the competition between them, especially after the great trends of Iraqi government agencies to use the academic experiences and their efficiencies in general, due to non-existence of the engineering qualification in the government institutions to do the engineering designs ,supervision of projects and other engineering works which are practicing by the engineering consultancy offices in order to get the best performance of the work.Within this serious competition, needing a specific approach to enable government agencies to choose the optimal and alternative consultancy office to meet specific project and not rely on cronyis

Use Generalized Pareto Survival Models to Estimation Optimal Survival Time for Myocardial Infarction Patients
...Show More Authors

The survival analysis is one of the modern methods of analysis that is based on the fact that the dependent variable represents time until the event concerned in the study. There are many survival models that deal with the impact of explanatory factors on the likelihood of survival, including the models proposed by the world, David Cox, one of the most important and common models of survival, where it consists of two functions, one of which is a parametric function that does not depend on the survival time and the other a nonparametric function that depends on times of survival, which the Cox model is defined as a semi parametric model, The set of parametric models that depend on the time-to-event distribution parameters such as

Reaction of Thiols with formaldehyde in Presnce of succinimid and Reduction of Phenyl Tetrazole Derivative with Hydrogen and Borohydraide

One of most the important compounds which have active hydrogen (substrate) is the thiols which used in a wide field in preparation of Mannich bases . A large number of Mannich bases have been prepared as a biologically active compound (pharmaceutical, pesticides, bactericidal, fungicidal and tuberculostatic) and in order to correlate their structure and reactivity with their pharmacological activity such as . It has been reported that the reaction is easily proceeded by using primary and secondary amine beside formaldehyde. But when we tried the reaction of thiols as substrate and formaldehyde and succinimide instead of amine, the reaction did not proceed to give Mannich base but product were methylenene – bis – sulfide . A revolution called information revolution has recently invaded the world. It is Currently considered one of the most important properties of development to the countries of the world The criteria provided by computers such as accuracy, speed, time saving Storage and restore have led them to be widely used in economy, industry, agriculture, communications, etc., as well as being the major finder of reengineering the operations of innovation. The use of computers in the preparation of budgets will lead to achieve accuracy. Since, the operation draws upon the statistic and quantity estimations about budget items, the computerized balance sheet may save time and effort of preparing mathematical equations annually. According to the problem o
