The micellization for an aqueous binary mixed system of Nonyl Phenol Ethoxylate ( NPE ) and Dehyquarte E-CA (DE-CA) were studied by means of surface tension measurement. The surface tension was measured for the solutions of the single and five mixed systems at 25ᵒC in order to determine critical micellization concentrations (CMC), surface excesses (Γ), and the surface area occupied by a molecule (Am) as a function of mole fraction of (NPE). A novel demountable shear connector for precast steel‐concrete composite bridges is presented. The connector uses high‐strength steel bolts, which are fastened to the top flange of the steel beam with the aid of a special locking nut configuration that prevents slip of bolts within their holes.
