This paper presents a comparative study between different oil production enhancement scenarios in the Saadi tight oil reservoir located in the Halfaya Iraqi oil field. The reservoir exhibits poor petrophysical characteristics, including medium pore size, low permeability (reaching zero in some areas), and high porosity of up to 25%. Previous stimulation techniques such as acid fracturing and matrix acidizing have yielded low oil production in this reservoir. Seventy-six urine specimens were collected from of patients suffering from recurrent
urinary tract infections (UTIs). Specimens were bacteriologically analyzed, fifty
(65.8%) of isolated bacterial strains were belonged to E.coli. 100% of isolated
uropathogenic E.coli (UPEC)strains displayed a biofilm positive phenotype under
optimized condition using microtiter plate assay. 21 of E.coli strains classified as highly
positive biofilm producers (42%), and 29 (58%) as weakly positive biofilm producers.

The variation of compression index C_c and swelling index C_s with the degree of saturation S was studied on unsaturated and fully saturated soils for different degrees of saturation (100%, 91%, 85%, 75%, 60%), several mathematical equations were found to describe these relationships, these equations can be used to predict settlement during the consolidation process in unsaturated and fully saturated soils.
