Filed experiment was conducted to test the effect of saline water and potassium fertilizers rate on proline and water potential of Pisum sativum L. (Var.Senador Cambados ) leaves . Treatments of the experiment included two levels of water salinity( 2, 7 dSm-1) as a main plot and fertilizer rates as a sub plot. Results indicated that irrigation of plant with saline water 7 dSm-1 and fertilization 150 kg/donum increased proline accumulation and water potential 0.31 mmol/g,-17.00 bar at 9 AM morning and 0.62 mmol/g , -21.00 bar at 3 PM afternoon ,Irrigating plant with a 2 dSm-1 and fertilization 300 kg/donum decreased proline accumulation and water potential of leaves 0.22 mmol/g, -16.00 bar at 9 A

     The present study aims to assess inter-specific competition between Hydrilla verticillata and Ceratophyllum demersum. A competition experiment design has five treatment combinations to terminal shoots of C. demersum only, terminal shoots of H. verticillata only and three different treatment combinations of C. demersum and H. verticillata together. The  two  i nsecticides  Nogos and  Sumicidin  were  tested  for  their activity  against larvae  and  eggs  of  Culex  pipiens under  laboratory conditi on.

Third  instar  larvae  were  exposed  for  24, 48 and  72.  hrs  to five concentrations  each insecticide  test: 0.0005, 0.005, 0.05, 0.5 and  1.0 ppm. The same concentrations were used to test the eggs hatching.

  The study was designed to invetigate the effect of two plant growth regulators (GA3 and IAA)on growth and leaves volatile oils of sweet basil .      The plants were treated with 200ppm concentration for each of the bove regulators after 2 monthes  of planting ,after 2weeks of the first treatment and after month of the first treatment .     The results showed an increase in plant height 25,35% ,number of large leaves 20,40% and percentage of volatile oils 200,100%respectively after one month of first treatment.
